Manel Kape vs. Kyoji Horiguchi 2 Result

Horiguchi had his moments. He tagged Kape on a few occasions and even secured three takedowns.

Kape never panicked. He waited for his moment and landed a nasty counter right hand that rocked Horiguchi and it led to the stoppage.

This time, referee Herb Dean got it right.

Kape stopped Horiguchi via third-round TKO at 2:42, finally erasing the 2017 RIZIN submission that was the last stoppage loss on his record. The win pushes him to 23-7 and cements him as the division’s top contender. He is next in line once Van runs back his title fight with former champ Pantoja.
