Superstardom at JENNIE’s scale requires a certain distance, but for three nights this September, a lucky handful of travelers can get close by booking an Airbnb.

ForbesJennie’s ‘Less Than A Lover’ Video Villa Is Open For Airbnb Bookings

With booking requests available for a three-day stay between September 11-14 for the Villa Adriana, Airbnb made the clifftop house in Begur, Spain, that serves as the set of Jennie’s recently released “Less Than a Lover” music video available to accommodate up to 12 guests at $1,011 a night — $3,033 for the full booking, or roughly $253 per person at capacity. Guests submit requests rather than booking instantly.

The Spain property sits above two of the northern Costa Brava’s quieter coves, the deep water of Platja Fonda directly below and the turquoise bay of Aiguablava just beyond, with a private gate opening onto the sand. Inside are six bedrooms, a principal suite with a whirlpool tub, a private cinema, a contemporary living room and an open kitchen; outside, an infinity pool, a Roman-style pond, a summer kitchen and landscape lighting built to carry the place from dusk into night. There is also a DJ room wired with a professional sound system, which Jennie says is her favorite room in the house. Set pieces from the shoot for the “Less Than a Lover” music video — which now boasts more than 22 million views on YouTube — also remain in the property.

That video, and the single it accompanies, arrived July 24 as Jennie’s first solo release since her 2025 debut album Ruby. “Less Than a Lover” is a noticeably lighter record than most of that album, built on lo-fi guitars and vintage keyboards, with Jennie’s creative fingerprints on nearly every layer: she co-wrote the song with Cashmere Cat, Tyler Spry and Forbes 30 Under 30 alumnus Bibi Bourelly, among others, then conceived the video’s story herself, co-directed it with photographer and director Choeey, and cast Taiwanese model Nah Kai opposite her. It ends on a near-kiss as the BLACKPINK star pulls away, followed by a title card reading “To be continued.”

The continuation now has a date with Jennie announcing Fallen Angel, a digital EP arriving August 28 with three tracks: the title track single “FALLEN ANGEL,” “HEAVEN” and the previously released “Less than a Lover.” In a statement, her label OA Entertainment said the project comes from “a very personal place in her heart and the truest self-expression,” adding, “We hope you enjoy the EP to remember this summer.”

Ahead of that, Jennie talks about the moment she knew the house was the one, why she wanted a stretch of Spanish coast most travelers skip and what an actual vacation looks like for someone whose year is mostly traveling for work. Reservations are available via Airbnb.com/JENNIE

Jeff Benjamin: Congratulations on “Less Than a Lover.” You were very involved in the video direction, script and the song itself. How did this location come to you?

JENNIE: I had a vision of the house in my head before we found it. I knew I wanted something that felt lived-in and familiar. When we started location scouting and saw the villa, I was like “Wait, this is it.” It almost felt like the villa was part of the story already. I immediately started picturing the scenes there.

Is there a detail in the villa that viewers may or may not have seen on screen that is your favorite aspect of the home? Or anything you’d suggest they do once they’re inside?

The DJ room was one of my favorite rooms of the villa. It would be such a fun place to play around or just put your favorite songs on and hang out since it had a great sound system. There are so many great spaces in the villa like the infinity pool, movie theater, the beautiful garden and so much more.

How did you come to partner with Airbnb in creating this getaway experience? Fans usually see an artist’s world from the outside, but what does it mean to you that they can stay in a house you created your art inside?

Partnering with Airbnb to create this experience was a way to let my fans go beyond watching the video and actually step into that world themselves, while creating their own memories in this beautiful villa. Fans usually experience an artist’s world from the outside looking in, so there’s something different about being able to open the door on this one, literally. It’s less about showing people a set and more about letting them feel what it was like to be there while we were making “Less Than a Lover.”

If you were writing the Airbnb guest instructions yourself for renting the villa, what suggestions would you include?

If I had to write instructions myself, I would let travelers know that the villa is right above the beautiful, quieter coves, so skip the tourist areas and visit those more untouched beaches for the perfect day.

Begur and the Costa Brava coves aren’t the most obvious or famous spots in Spain. What drew you to that part of the coast over somewhere more familiar?

I wanted to find a location that felt like a private and quiet escape for the video, and this area was the perfect fit. The scenery is stunning and created exactly the atmosphere and vibe we were looking for.

You’ve been on the road this summer with sets at Governors Ball, Roskilde, Mad Cool, Lollapalooza, Summer Sonic. When so many getaways are part of work, what does an actual vacation look like for you?

For me, a vacation is really about taking things slow and relaxing, using the time to recharge. I love exploring local areas and finding cute places to take photos and just enjoying what is around me. Those are the moments I really enjoy when I get the chance.

What else would you like to share with fans about your Airbnb partnership for “Less Than a Lover”?

I am excited for this partnership with Airbnb to give my fans an opportunity to visit a location I love so much. Anyone who gets to stay at the villa will have an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery, quiet location, and plenty of amenities. I hope that whoever gets to stay at the villa enjoys it as much as I do.

Jennie’s partnership with Airbnb is live now with a three-day booking available between September 11-14 via Airbnb.com/JENNIE.
