This year’s edition of Noche UFC takes place today, September 12, from Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The annual event celebrating Mexican Independence Day starts early to avoid interfering with the boxing card headlined by Ryan Garcia vs. Conor Benn later that evening in Las Vegas.
Last year’s Noche UFC card took place at Sphere in Las Vegas and was headlined by a featherweight bout between Diego Lopes and Jean Silva. Lopes won that contest by second-round TKO. This year’s card is headlined by the highly ranked Silva facing Jose Miguel Delgado in a 145-pound scrap. In the co-main event, former UFC flyweight champ Brandon Moreno meets Joseph Morales at 125 pounds.
Today’s Noche UFC card is the first of seven TKO events in Arizona over the next three years.

Noche UFC Main Event: Jean Silva Vs. Jose Delgado
A member of The Fighting Nerds team out of Brazil, Jean Silva (17-3) joined the UFC in September 2023 when he scored a UFC contract thanks to a decision win over Kevin Vallejos on a Dana White’s Contender Series card. Silva opened his UFC run with five stoppage victories, earning four knockouts and one submission between January 2024 and April 2025.
Silva’s dominant performance at UFC 314, submitting Bryce Mitchell in the second round, earned him a main event fight against Diego Lopes at Noche UFC in September 2025. That fight did not go Silva’s way, as Lopes ended Silva’s night at the 4:48 mark of Round 2, via spinning back elbow.
Silva bounced back from his first UFC defeat with a decision over Arnold Allen at UFC 324.
The 29-year-end enters Noche UFC as the No. 6 ranked featherweight in the UFC.
Jose Delgado (12-2) has been with the UFC since he earned a UFC deal in August 2024 on the DWCS. He has gone 4-1 since then with wins over Andre Fili and Austin Bashi in his two most recent outings. The 28-year-old steps in on short notice, replacing former interim UFC featherweight titleholder Yair Rodriguez.
