Ariana Grande is in the midst of an exciting week on the Billboard charts in the United States. Her two most recent singles, “Hate That I Made You Love Me” and “Petal” – the title track from her recently released album – both reach new peak positions on various rankings. In one case, the superstar lands another No. 1.
As both of those cuts continue to gain ground and reach millions of people throughout the U.S., one of Grande’s earlier smashes also surges to never-before-seen heights globally.
Ariana Grande’s “Into You” Reaches New Billboard Peaks
“Into You” rises on both of Billboard’s worldwide songs rankings this week and establishes new peak positions on the pair of related rosters. The years-old favorite jumps from No. 164 to No. 135 on the Billboard Global 200 and from No. 174 to No. 143 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
“Into You” Remains One of Ariana Grande’s Lower-Ranking Global Hits
Even as “Into You” establishes new peaks, the track does not advance much within Grande’s own discography. It remains her third-lowest-peaking cut on the Billboard Global 200 out of 63 career appearances. Only “Thank U, Next” and “Just Look Up,” her collaboration with Kid Cudi, have stalled in lower positions. Those tunes peaked at Nos. 189 and 198, respectively.
On the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., “Into You” is Grande’s second-lowest-peaking hit out of 61 career wins. “What Is This Feeling?,” one of multiple duets with her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo, spent one frame at No. 199 before disappearing.
Ariana Grande Fills Both Global Charts With Multiple Hits
Grande charts six tracks on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. this week. Her two most recent singles, “Hate That I Made You Love Me” and “Petal,” decline on both worldwide rankings, while everything else is on the rise.
Her pair of collaborations with The Weeknd, “Save Your Tears” and “Die for You,” move north. Grande’s own “Into You” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” also gain ground compared to where they sat only a few days ago.
Ariana Grande Scores Another No. 1 Radio Smash
“Into You” is one of three Grande songs to establish new peaks on any Billboard chart this week. “Hate That I Made You Love Me” rises to No. 1 on the Pop Airplay chart, earning Grande her historic eleventh leader on the ranking. That total ties Grande with several other superstars for the third-most No. 1s in the history of the tally. “Hate That I Made You Love Me” also climbs from No. 8 to a new high of No. 6 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart.
Ariana Grande’s “Petal” Is on the Rise as Well
“Petal” advances on three radio rankings at the same time. The second single from the album of the same name rises to new peaks of Nos. 16, 34 and 43 on the Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay and Radio Songs charts, respectively.
