After releasing her debut full-length solo album Alter Ego last winter, Blackpink singer and rapper Lisa has refused to slow down. In addition to reuniting with the girl group that made her famous earlier this year for a new EP and hit song, Lisa has continued to churn out material on her own as well.
In 2026 alone, the Thai musician has delivered a trio of singles under her own name, and the most recent of the bunch, “Sawadika,” becomes a hit on the Billboard charts this week. As that oddly-titled tune arrives, Lisa misses out on tying her most impressive showing on multiple tallies by just one space.
Lisa Scores Another Digital Song Sales Chart Top 10
Of the four Billboard rankings where “Sawadika” launches this frame, it only manages a top 10 start on one of them, the Digital Song Sales chart. “Sawadika” stands out as the seventh-bestselling track of any style in the United States this period after selling a little more than 1,900 copies on digital stores, according to Luminate.
“Sawadika” Ties as Lisa’s Second-Highest-Peaking Sales Hit
As it opens at No. 7, “Sawadika” ties as Lisa’s second-highest-peaking solo hit on the Digital Song Sales chart. The track matches “Rockstar,” which opened and peaked at No. 7 in July 2024.
Only one tune, the self-titled “Lalisa,” managed to climb even higher, but not by much. In September 2021, “Lalisa” kicked off its time on the Digital Song Sales chart at No. 6. That holds as Lisa’s all-time peak.
As “Sawadika” debuts, Lisa scores her seventh solo smash on the Digital Song Sales chart and fourth top 10. In addition to “Lalisa” and “Rockstar,” “Money” also managed one frame on the tally, launching the same week as “Lalisa,” at No. 8.
Lisa Claims the Week’s Second-Loftiest Sales Debut
Lisa claims the second-loftiest debut on the Digital Song Sales chart this time around. She comes in behind only “Bass Persuades” by Miley – shortened from Miley Cyrus. That track almost earns the Grammy winner a new No. 1 with the title track from her new album, but instead she settles for second place.
Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” returns to the summit, scoring its historic seventeenth frame as the bestselling track on digital sites in the U.S. As it finds its way back to the peak position, “Choosin’ Texas” ties with “Despacito” by Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi and Justin Bieber as the third-longest-running leader of all time, coming in behind a pair of BTS smashes that both conquered the ranking 18 times during their runs.
Lisa Almost Matches Her Best Billboard Hot 100 Peak
Just as is the case on the Digital Song Sales chart, Lisa almost matches her all-time loftiest position on the Billboard Hot 100, the ranking of the most popular songs in the U.S. “Sawadika” kicks off its time on the competitive tally at No. 69, one space beneath where “Born Again,” her team-up with both Doja Cat and Raye, launched and peaked last year. “Sawadika” does manage to outpace “Rockstar,” which spent only one turn at No. 70 in the summer of 2024.
“Sawadika” Debuts on Both of Billboard’s Global Charts
“Sawadika” also launches on both of Billboard’s worldwide rankings. The cut starts at No. 13 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. – coincidentally becoming Lisa’s thirteenth solo hit on the roster as it arrives – and No. 23 on the Billboard Global 200. The Billboard Global 200 ranks the most popular tracks around the world based on streaming and sales activity, including consumption from the U.S. The Billboard Global Excl. U.S. uses a similar methodology but removes all American activity from its calculations.
