WWE Money in the Bank 2026 could be a night filled with memorable moments and blockbuster returns.
On Oct. 10, WWE heads to the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans for one of its most important events of the year, Money in the Bank. The PLE will feature high-profile matches for the World Heavyweight Championship and Women’s World Championship as well as a pair of critical MITB ladder matches that will give two superstars a guaranteed world title match at anytime of their choosing over the next year.
Perhaps just as importantly, this year’s Money in the Bank event is shaping up to be a night full of surprise returns. WWE has a number of marquee stars who are currently sidelined but are expected to return to action soon, possibly as soon as at Money in the Bank.
Seth Rollins Reportedly Nearing WWE Return
Seth Rollins could make his presence felt at Money in the Bank.
According to WrestleVotes (h/t Cageside Seats), “At one point he was supposed to be on the Money in the Bank card, but it’s not clear if that’s still the case. Regardless, his return is expected to happen soon.” With less than two weeks until Money in the Bank, it’s unlikely that Rollins would return before the PLE.
But Rollins’ last WWE appearance came at SummerSlam, where he lost a World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns. With Reigns facing LA Knight at Money in the Bank, the event presents a likely stage for Rollins’ return given his lengthy history with both Knight and Reigns.
It’s not clear exactly where Rollins fits on Raw these days, but after nearly two months away without an injury sidelining him, Rollins is due back any day now.
Solo Sikoa Could Factor Into The Bloodline’s Story
The last time Solo Sikoa was on Raw, he was taken hostage by Royce Keys’ new stable, 946, the top heel group on the red brand.
In recent months, Sikoa has steadily risen to become a top babyface after years as a heel, and he should be in line for a TV return as a key factor in the storyline between 946 and The Bloodline or Reigns vs. Knight. The question is exactly where Sikoa’s allegiance will lie.
Sikoa was recently at odds with both The Bloodline and 946, so it’s easy to picture him targeting either group upon his return. Does Sikoa cement himself as a babyface and realign with The Bloodline or turn heel again by revealing himself to be in on everything with Keys and company? Better yet, does Sikoa cost or help Knight or Reigns in New Orleans?
WWE figures to answer at least one of these questions at Money in the Bank, where a Sikoa return seems a virtual certainty.
Drew McIntyre Training For Potential WWE Return
Drew McIntyre hasn’t been seen since WrestleMania 42 way back in April, when he lost to Jacob Fatu.
The former WWE Champion, however, recently teased that he was training for an in-ring return after roughly half a year away. McIntyre spent the early portion of 2026 in the WWE title picture on SmackDown, but that’s awfully crowded nowadays, making a move to Raw more likely.
Given his history with stars like Reigns, Fatu and The Bloodline as a whole, McIntyre could seamlessly slide into a storyline with any of those stars. Raw really needs another top star or two to round out its roster, and a refreshed McIntyre, back from a lengthy layoff, would give the brand exactly that.
Even if McIntyre doesn’t show up at WWE Money in the Bank, his return to TV should be right around the corner.
Naomi Set To Make WWE Return Soon
After missing more than a year of action, former multi-time women’s champion Naomi is expected to return soon.
Naomi hasn’t been seen since August 2025, when she was forced to relinquish her Women’s World Championship due to her pregnancy. Now comes news of her potential return at what may be the perfect time for her to instantly assume a major role in Raw’s biggest storyline.
Earlier this week on Raw, the stable 946 added its first women’s star in NXT call-up Jaida Parker. With Parker tipping the odds in favor of 946 during their rivalry with The Bloodine, Naomi, the real-life way of Jimmy Uso, would be a perfect fit as the final member of The Bloodline.
Given that this rivalry is currently WWE’s biggest feud on Raw, Naomi’s return is expected to happen soon and coincide with that sizzling storyline. Why not at WWE Money in the Bank?
