Live Nation Charges Into The Creator Economy

It was only a matter of time. Live Nation is powering into the creator economy, funding a new entity to support creators across content, commerce, brand partnerships and live experiences.

Called Creator Nation, the new firm co-founded by Scott and Alexis Fisher will also acquire and grow creator management firms and adjacent businesses. The first acquisition will likely be announced before the end of the year.

“Creators are increasingly building careers that look a lot like broader entertainment businesses, with opportunities across content, live, brands and commerce,” said Michael Rapino, president and CEO of Live Nation Entertainment. “Scott and Alexis understand how to help talent build those businesses for the long term, and we see a lot of opportunity to support that growth.”

What used to be largely a “hobby” space dominated by independent bloggers and influencers across YouTube and other social channels that relied on third-party ad revenue has fast evolved into a multi-billion dollar entrepreneurial ecosystem while at the same time, traditional Hollywood systems continue to decentralize.

For the first time in the five-year history of Forbes’ Top Creators list – the 2026 edition of which was published in August – the ranking of the 50 most powerful influencers collectively broke the billion-dollar mark, bringing in a total of $1.02 billion. That marks a 20% jump from last year’s $853 million haul and an 80% surge from the $570 million total earnings from the debut list in 2022.

With capital and strategic backing from the world’s largest live entertainment company, Creator Nation aims to buoy fandom, financial gain and, no surprise, live experiences for creators.

“Creators have proven they can build enormous audiences, but the infrastructure around them has not always kept pace. We’re building Creator Nation to give creators and the teams supporting them the resources to turn that influence into businesses designed to last,” said Scott Fisher, who founded Select Management Group and led it through its acquisition by Propagate Content in 2025.

Select’s roster spans more than 500 creators with a combined audience of more than 1 billion. Select also co-produces Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and co-created consumer brands including Hairitage and Sacheu, which have driven hundreds of millions of dollars in sales.

Alexis Fisher founded Timeline Management, building it across music and creator management, branding and touring. She brought the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast and Gracie’s Corner to the stage. Timeline, backed by Live Nation since 2024, will continue to operate separately from Creator Nation.

“Bringing creator-led shows to the stage showed us how a strong relationship with fans can open the door to entirely new opportunities,” said Alexis Fisher. “Creator Nation gives us a platform to do that for many more creators, across every part of their business.”
