Fans React To Viral Song

Austin Theory was repackaged and brought back as the masked man late last year on Raw. He still hasn’t hit his stride and been made to be a force in the ring with The Vision, but a new theme song never hurts.

Theory’s new theme was released on Monday and fans were already clamoring for it. It’s called This is Me. Take a listen.

The rock-driven track first debuted on the December 29 episode of Raw, when Theory returned to singles competition with a new look — shaved head, full beard, no more “A-Town Down” voiceover. Fans have been demanding an official release ever since.

The lyrics land in the context of Theory’s current arc.

“I’m taking back what’s mine / I don’t stop, I don’t fold / No more walking the line” reads like a mission statement for a 28-year-old who was the youngest United States Champion in WWE history, won Money in the Bank, and beat John Cena at WrestleMania 39 only to spend the next two years spinning his wheels.

The YouTube comments section is a snapshot of how fans felt when the song became available to the public.

“We got Austin Theory’s new theme released before GTA 6,” one fan wrote. “THE THEORY FILES” dominated the replies. Another commenter captured the broader sentiment: “He has everything to be the face of WWE, and with all Vision members injured, it’s the perfect time.”

That last point matters. Seth Rollins’ return at Elimination Chamber cost Logan Paul his Chamber spot and set up their WrestleMania 42 collision.

Jim Cornette recently praised Theory on his podcast, calling him “a puppy with big paws” and noting his in-ring technique is “technically fabulous.” WWE.com’s own breakout star predictions for 2026 listed Theory at No. 3, citing his Survivor Series interference and rapid faction integration.

The old “A-Town Down” gimmick wasn’t terrible, but its over. “This Is Me” is a declaration — and based on the fan response, the audience is ready to take Theory seriously again.

If the WrestleMania 42 card keeps expanding, a featured singles spot isn’t out of the question. Hopefully we get to hear his new song in Las Vegas.
