Sometimes, an artist’s song or album returns to the charts due to something truly special happening. That might be an important sync in a TV show or movie that reminds the masses how much they love a certain track, or an anniversary edition turning a years-old project into a bestseller again.
Then there are instances when a musician reappears thanks to consistent popularity and a relative lack of competition. That’s what seems to be the case this week with Harry Styles, who is enjoying a huge frame in his home country of the United Kingdom. The former One Direction superstar has only released four solo albums, and all but one of them return to at least one roster across the Atlantic, with several bounding back onto multiple tallies at the same time.
Harry Styles’s Harry’s House Returns to Four Charts
Among three full-lengths by Styles that find their way back to the charts in the U.K. this week, Harry’s House, his third blockbuster, is the greatest gainer. That project, which won the singer-songwriter the Grammy for Album of the Year, reenters four rosters simultaneously. Harry’s House is back on the Official Albums (No. 76), Official Albums Streaming (No. 77), Official Albums Sales (No. 94) and Official Physical Albums charts (No. 98) after not appearing on any of them last period.
Fine Line Reappears on Two Tallies
Fine Line, which followed the musician’s self-titled debut album by a little more than two years, can be found on only two rankings, and it returns to both of them. The set is back on the Official Albums Streaming tally at No. 69, and it nearly matches that position on the Official Albums list, the busiest list for full-lengths and EPs in the nation, where it settles at No. 70.
Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally Rises and Returns
A little more than two months ago, Styles returned with Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, his fourth full-length. That dance-leaning release has been performing well on nearly every roster in the U.K. since, though even his most recent studio effort manages a comeback. Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally reenters the Official Vinyl Albums chart at No. 20.
Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally is the only title by Styles that doesn’t need to reappear on every ranking on which it finds space. The set holds inside the top 10 on both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts, landing at No. 10 on the two simultaneously. The title, which Styles continues to promote, also gains ground on the Official Albums Sales (No. 21), Official Physical Albums (No. 22) and Official Album Downloads charts (No. 25) as well.
Harry Styles Claims Several Long-Running Favorites
Fine Line may not be Styles’s oldest release, but it is his longest-charting among all three projects that take up space on the U.K. rosters this frame. It recently reached 250 turns on the Official Albums Streaming tally, and it is nearing that milestone on the main albums list as well.
Harry’s House has passed two years on all four rosters where it’s located, and Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally has yet to make it to a dozen – though it will likely do so on almost every rundown in a matter of days.
Harry Styles Charts Three Songs on the Same Busy List
Styles claims three spaces on the Official Singles chart, the most allowed per artist in a lead role each week. “American Girls,” the second promotional cut from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, slips one space to No. 14. At the same time, “Sign of the Times,” his debut release under his own name, improves from No. 40 to No. 35. “Dance No More,” the third cut from his latest album, reaches a new high of No. 55 on the Official Singles roster. The track debuted last time around at No. 58, and thanks to a viral music video, it continues to ascend.
