There are some Billboard charts where Drake is catching up to other artists when it comes to the greatest number of hits, top 10s or even No. 1s… and then there are rankings where it seems plausible that nobody will ever be able to catch him. The Canadian hip-hop superstar is so far ahead on a handful of Billboard rosters – especially those focused on rap and hip-hop music – that it is difficult to imagine anyone coming along and giving him a run for his money.
Drake furthers his lead over all other stars on one radio tally this week as he scores yet another champion, one which has been waiting in the wings to rule for a little while. Impressively, his newest chart-topper is not even his only No. 1 on any Billboard roster this frame.
Drake Scores Another No. 1 on a Radio Chart
“Shabang” rises one space to No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay chart this week. The single reaches the summit only about two months into its run on the radio roster. “Shabang” had recently been forced to wait just underneath the peak spot as Yung Miami’s “Spend Dat” controlled the roster for multiple periods while Drake sat at No. 2.
Drake Extends His Historic Lead
“Shabang” becomes Drake’s forty-sixth No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay chart as it lifts one space. The rapper sits in a distant first place on the all-time ranking, as no other artist has even collected 20 champions.
Rihanna claims the second-most rulers on the tally, with 17 No. 1s. The Weeknd and Chris Brown are tied for third with 16 apiece. Either man may eventually match, and perhaps pass, Rihanna’s impressive total, which does not grow very frequently these days, but neither is anywhere close to approaching Drake’s showing.
Drake’s “Shabang” Hits New Peaks on Multiple Charts
“Shabang” also climbs to new high points on three additional radio-focused Billboard charts this week. The single sits on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Radio Songs charts at Nos. 6, 7 and 27, respectively. Those are all new peaks for the tune on those specific rosters.
Drake Rules With “Janice STFU” Too
“Shabang” is not the only hit from Iceman – one of three albums Drake released simultaneously earlier this year – to control a Billboard ranking at present.
“Janice STFU” remains unbeatable on several rap and R&B rosters. The track holds at No. 1 on the Hot Rap Songs chart while returning to the summit on both the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs and Rap Streaming Songs rankings, rising from No. 2 on each list. “Janice STFU” also remains inside the top 10 on several additional rundowns, as Drake’s biggest cut from his latest era proves to be an enduring win.
Drake Debuts at No. 1 Alongside Karol G
Drake collects even more champions this week thanks to “Ahi,” his collaboration with Karol G. The track debuts at No. 1 on half of the six Billboard charts where it arrives, immediately conquering the Hot Latin Songs, Latin Streaming Songs and Hot Latin Rhythm Songs rankings.

“Ahi” gives Drake his fourth No. 1 on both the Hot Latin Songs and Latin Streaming Songs charts. On the Hot Latin Rhythm Songs tally, the collaboration marks something entirely new: Drake’s first appearance, first top 10 and first No. 1.
