Eight albums by The Weeknd return to at least one chart in the U.K., with several bounding back onto multiple tallies at the same time. There are times when some people may feel like The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour has been going on forever. The Canadian multi-genre superstar began the venture back in 2022, and dates are scheduled through the end of the year. He has already visited several countries multiple times and even after selling many thousands of tickets, he still has no problem selling out some of the biggest venues on the planet.
The Weeknd recently returned to the United Kingdom, where he headlined five dates at Wembley Stadium in London. The talented musician is spending much of the rest of the summer performing throughout Europe before heading to several spots in Asia.
Fans of The Weeknd in the U.K. celebrated the return of the After Hours Til Dawn Tour by buying and streaming seemingly every piece of music the Grammy winner has ever released. Multiple projects return to the charts, and every title by The Weeknd either climbs from where it sat only a few days ago or reappears, which is even more dramatic than any gain.
The Weeknd Charts Nine Albums in the U.K.
Nine albums by The Weeknd appear on at least one U.K. ranking this week. Only three of those projects were present anywhere last frame. Eight of the nine releases return to at least one roster, while half a dozen reappear after failing to find space on any chart at all last time around. The Weeknd’s catalog comeback includes some of his earliest releases all the way up to his most recent studio effort.
The Weeknd Brings Both Starboy and After Hours Back
Both Starboy and After Hours reappear to the same three charts simultaneously. The two former No. 1s reenter the Official Albums, Official Albums Streaming and Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums rankings this week.
Five The Weeknd Albums Return to One Chart
The Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart welcomes back a large share of The Weeknd’s catalog this week. The Highlights, House of Balloons, Dawn FM, Beauty Behind the Madness and My Dear Melancholy reenter the genre-specific roster at Nos. 15, 16, 25, 31 and 34, respectively. Several of those projects have spent years on the tally, and most have reached No. 1.
The Weeknd Sends Hurry Up Tomorrow Back Into the Top 10
Two additional Weeknd releases were already present on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart last week, and both surge significantly. Hurry Up Tomorrow lifts from No. 20 to No. 9, finding its way back inside the top 10. Kiss Land also enjoys a sizable gain, advancing from No. 31 to No. 19.
Hurry Up Tomorrow simultaneously also returns to both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts.
The Highlights Almost Returns to No. 1
Unlike most of The Weeknd’s catalog, The Highlights did not need the tour to bring it back to any albums rankings, as last week the compilation was already present on both where it currently appears. The collection rises from No. 10 to No. 8 on the Official Albums chart and jumps from No. 6 to No. 2 on the Official Albums Streaming ranking. On the latter tally, The Highlights comes within just one space of returning to No. 1. The compilation has already conquered the streaming roster in the past and has now spent nearly 300 weeks somewhere on both of those album listings.
