Kiss scores another new bestselling album in the U.K. — the band’s second of 2026 — after breaking up, as ‘Destroys Anaheim ’76’ launches on three charts. Kiss may be broken up as a band, but the future is still bright for the hard rock act. The members have been open about the fact that they are still pursuing many business endeavors connected to the brand, which has been a hallmark of Kiss’s time in the spotlight. There are multiple projects in the works, including an animated series and a hologram show similar to what ABBA has already established in London.
The group recently delivered a new live album titled Destroys Anaheim ’76. The full-length was recorded during the band’s August 20 show in 1976, when Kiss played Anaheim Stadium, and it was properly released after circulating among fans as a bootleg for years to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the event. This week, Kiss scores a new bestseller on multiple charts in the United Kingdom as fans continue to demonstrate their love for the rockers, even if no new studio music may ever be released.
Kiss Debuts a New Album on Three Charts
Destroys Anaheim ’76 debuts on three purchase-focused rankings in the U.K. this frame. The live collection opens at No. 47 on the Official Albums Sales chart and starts at No. 50 on both the Official Album Downloads and Official Physical Albums tallies.
Kiss Reaches a Milestone 10 Sales Chart Hits
As Destroys Anaheim ’76 arrives, Kiss reaches a milestone 10 appearances on the Official Albums Sales chart. The group has racked up all of those wins in less than a decade, as the rockers first reached the tally with Kissworld – The Best Of, which peaked at No. 11 in June 2017.
The outfit now claims seven wins on the Official Album Downloads ranking and 17 on the Official Physical Albums list. In a bit of coincidence, that group’s total on the physical rundown matches the band’s combined 10 appearances on the broader sales chart and seven on the downloads-only roster.
Kiss Scores Its First Physical Chart Appearance in Years
Destroys Anaheim ’76 gives Kiss its first new entry on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts since April 2023. That month, Off the Soundboard – Live in Poughkeepsie debuted on the two rankings, spending one frame at No. 48 on the physical tally and launching at No. 53 on the general sales list. The live project slipped away days later and has never returned, and it completely missed the Official Album Downloads chart.
Kiss Has Already Charted Two New Efforts in 2026
The Official Album Downloads roster is the only one of the three tallies where Kiss has scored multiple new hits this year. 40 opened at No. 29 only about a month ago, and Destroys Anaheim ’76 now gives the band another arrival in 2026.
Kiss also collected two new entries on the downloads-only ranking in 2025. The Very Best Of and Alive! debuted and peaked at Nos. 90 and 88, respectively, with the former opening in October and the latter reaching the roster about a month later.
