Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Man’s Best Friend’ hits one year on the U.K. albums chart — one week after ‘Short N’ Sweet’ celebrated two years on the same ranking. Sabrina Carpenter released her two most recent albums, Short n’ Sweet and Man’s Best Friend, only a little more than a year apart from one another. The pair of projects have continued to perform extremely well since they first arrived, and Carpenter regularly fills at least two spaces on albums charts in a number of important markets.
Since Short n’ Sweet and Man’s Best Friend are so close in age, the titles are celebrating important chart milestones just one week apart from one another. That trend may continue for several years, depending on how well the collections hold up.
Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend Reaches One Year
Man’s Best Friend celebrates 52 weeks on the Official Albums chart this frame, marking its first full year on the ranking of the most-consumed albums and EPs in the United Kingdom. Amazingly, the project remains a top 40 success as it dips just two spaces from No. 29 to No. 31.
Sabrina Carpenter Has Three Year-Long-Charting Albums
Man’s Best Friend becomes Carpenter’s third full-length to spend at least a year on the Official Albums chart. Just last frame, Short n’ Sweet celebrated 104 weeks, or exactly two full years, on the tally.
Emails I Can’t Send, Carpenter’s only full-length to miss the top 10 on the U.K. ranking – it stalled at No. 21 – still managed to hold on for 60 frames. Of Carpenter’s four projects that have reached the Official Albums chart, only Fruitcake has not yet made it to the one-year landmark. The holiday EP, which peaked at No. 5, has yet to accumulate even a month on the roster, though it could return this December and continue adding to its cumulative total.
Man’s Best Friend Has Never Left the Top 40
Man’s Best Friend debuted on the Official Albums chart in September 2025 and spent two weeks at No. 1. The project became Carpenter’s second ruler on the ranking, following Short n’ Sweet, which held court at the summit for an entire month. During all 52 weeks that Man’s Best Friend has spent on the Official Albums tally, the hits-backed project has yet to fall beneath the top 40.
Man’s Best Friend Celebrates 52 Weeks on Four Charts
Carpenter’s latest album reaches the same 52-week milestone on three additional U.K. rankings this time around. Man’s Best Friend holds steady at No. 29 on the Official Albums Streaming chart, while it declines to Nos. 56 and 60 on the Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales lists, respectively.
Short n’ Sweet Remains a Top 40 Hit
Short n’ Sweet can be found on the same four rankings as Man’s Best Friend at the moment, and it remains a top 40 success on only half of them. Carpenter’s previous full-length rises one space to No. 38 on the Official Albums chart and jumps seven rungs to No. 30 on the Official Albums Streaming tally.
The project does not perform quite as well on the two sales lists. Short n’ Sweet falls to No. 75 on the Official Physical Albums chart and No. 78 on the Official Albums Sales roster.
