Premios Juventud’s 2026 European debut at the Starlite Marbella amphitheater celebrated the global power of Hispanic music, honoring major stars and showcasing emerging talent. Several artists tied for the most awards.
Spanish pop star Aitana won taking home three awards Aitana won three awards, including Best Euro-Song for “Superestrella” and Best Pop Album for Cuarto Azul, helping anchor a night in which Shakira, Vicente Fernández, Prince Royce and Romeo Santos were also triple winners.
Shakira won Best Pop Song for her track “Bésame” with Alejandro Sanz and the OMG Collaboration award for her song “Dai Dai,“ featuring Burna Boy.
Alejandro Fernández took home the Favorite Track award for “Me está doliendo,“ featuring Carín León, the Best Pop/Ballad Song trophy for his “Sin despedida” collaboration with Carlos Rivera, and Best Mexican Banda Music for his duet with Vicente Fernández on the song “El Rey.“
Prince Royce and Romeo Santos won three tropical awards. Their track “Dardos” was named Tropical Hit, while their song “Lokita por mí” won Tropical Mix. They also took home the Best Tropical Album award for their joint release, Better Late Than Never.
Bad Bunny was named Male Artist of the Year and won Best Tour. Karol G picked up the Album of the Year title with her record Tropicoqueta and Best Urban Rhythmic Song for her track “Verano Rosa” with Feid.
Agent of Change and Performances
Antonio Banderas, Marc Anthony, Yandel and La Oreja de Van Gogh received the Agent of Change award for their cultural impact and social commitment.
Performances opened with Farruko, Juan Magán and DJ Rous performing “Marbella Nights,” and included Greeicy on “Yapaque” and “Madrid.” The lineup also featured Mau y Ricky, Natanael Cano, Santos Bravos, Elvis Crespo, Quevedo, Ángela Aguilar, Christian Nodal, Morat, Wisin, Kenia Os, Xavi, Kapo and others. Camilo performed the global release of “Árbol.”
The night featured a series of performances and global debuts. Farruko, DJ Rous, and Juan Magán opened the show, performing “Marbella Nights,” the official theme song of the event.
Santos Bravos, the first Latin boy band from HYBE Latin America, debuted with “Velocidade” and won the awards for Favorite Group or Duo and New Generation Male.
Merengue artist Elvis Crespo also made his first appearance at the ceremony, performing two television world premieres, “Pa’ Bailar” and “La Graciosa,” alongside Quevedo.
Ángela Aguilar delivered a rendition of “Cielito Lindo“ and Camilo performed “Árbol,“ offering a preview of his upcoming album, to be released on September 9.
The awards also have television categories, with Angelique Boyer and Gabriel Soto picking up trophies as favorite actors.
