AEW Dynamite Results For Sept. 9, 2026

• Dynamite opens with a graphic remembering “The Butcher,” Andy Williams.
• Britt Baker hosts The Waiting Room with Rebel. Baker tells Rebel that her strength, fight, and spirit have inspired everyone. Baker welcomes out the new TBS Champion, Persephone, who thanks her for helping save the division. She says Thunder Rosa is holding a CMLL title hostage. Persephone says she’ll drag Rosa, Hyan and Maya World into the underworld. Baker welcomes out Hikaru Shida, who playfully brings up breaking Baker’s nose years ago.
• AEW World Trios Championship Match
  Swerve Strickland and The New Level (Austin Creed and Kofi) (c) def. The Conglomeration (Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly) by pinfall to retain the titles.

  After the match, The Demand and The Lethal Twist interrupt the celebration. Ricochet says they can defeat Strickland and The New Level anytime they want and deserve a rematch. He calls Creed and Kofi rookies and questions how they and Strickland know each other.

  As The Demand and The Lethal Twist surround the ring, Adam Page, Bandido and Brody King run down to make the save. The babyface groups then stare each other down over the AEW World Trios Championship.

• Backstage, Steven Borden says “fear” is now his reason for stepping into the ring. He says watching his dad and Darby Allin win the tag titles ignited something in him, and he asked himself whether he wanted to wonder “what if?” in 30 years or tackle what scares him. Allin says he knows what Borden is capable of and that he’s not the second coming of Sting, he’s the first Steven Borden.
• The Dynamite commentary team pays a heartfelt tribute to “The Butcher,” Andy Williams.
• Backstage, Josh Alexander says he has something to prove after being away for five months. Mark Davis says they’ll decimate Steven Borden and Darby Allin. Kyle Fletcher says he and Kevin Knight work great together and hopes for more success tonight, while Knight and Don Callis get excited about the possibility of defeating The Young Bucks.

  Kazuchika Okada approaches Fletcher and says he’s glad Fletcher finally sees the value in family.

• Britt Baker, Persephone and Hikaru Shida def. Hyan, Maya World and Thunder Rosa by submission. Rebel comes down to the ring during the match to give Baker her glove for the Lockjaw.
• A special video about Rebel’s journey and battle with ALS plays.
• A recap video plays of Andrade El Idolo saying he wants to focus on defending his AEW National Championship.
• AEW National Championship Match
  Andrade El Idolo (c) def. The Beast Mortos by pinfall to retain the title.
• After the match, El Idolo says Mortos is a good wrestler but not good enough to beat him because he’s not Andrade El Idolo, the real Latino man. The Dogs attack El Idolo after his promo and beat him down until Will Ospreay makes the save and sends the heel stable out of the ring.
• Jon Moxley then enters the arena with Marina Shafir and joins commentary for Ospreay’s upcoming match.
• AEW World Championship Eliminator Match
  Will Ospreay (c) def. David Finlay by pinfall.
• Backstage, Brody King facetiously asks Adam Page if they’re still in the hunt for the AEW World Trios Championship. Page says the Trios titles weren’t what he was looking for, but they were what he needed. He asks King and Bandido if they’re still a trio, and they agree.
• Darby Allin and Steven Borden def. The Don Callis Family (Mark Davis and Josh Alexander) by pinfall.
• A video recaps last week’s segment between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, The Young Bucks and FTR, where their All Out match became official.
• Thekla laughs at Mercedes Moné for speaking about her dreams and moments last week, just like every other woman in the locker room. She recounts a story about being in the basement of a bar and watching a guy get beaten up with a raw chicken carcass.

  Moné interrupts her from the crowd and says she’s dealt with egos bigger than Thekla’s throughout her career and that Thekla doesn’t scare her.

  Thekla says they can agree on Willow Nightingale being the dumbest and worst champion in AEW. She says Nightingale got lucky when she took her title, until Nightingale interrupts and chases Thekla from the ring.

• Backstage, Pac yells at Jon Moxley that he can’t trust Will Ospreay. Daniel Garcia says he’s always liked Ospreay. Gabe Kidd questions why they’re showing Ospreay respect after how they attacked him last year. Ospreay approaches them, and Kidd gets pulled away. Ospreay says he’s the one who asked to face Moxley at All Out and that Moxley is the only man who’s pinned him in 2026. He says Moxley can have the Death Riders at ringside, there will be a 60-minute time limit, and he’s coming at Moxley with a calculated game plan because he knows what it takes to beat a Death Rider.
• Tables Match
  The Don Callis Family (Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher) def. The Young Bucks by pinfall when FTR interfered to stall Nick Jackson and allow Fletcher to hit a brainbuster through the table. FTR attacked the Jacksons after the match until Darby Allin and Steven Borden made the save.

  The Young Bucks shake hands with Allin and Borden to close the show.
