Cardi B made fans wait more than seven years before they got to show their love and support by turning her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, into the biggest project in the country. The superstar has only ever delivered two full-lengths, and both of them have become major wins on the Billboard charts.
Cardi recently stated that she’s hard at work on her third collection, which hopefully will not take more than half a decade to reach fans who continue to listen to Am I the Drama? in large numbers. This frame, the second project by the Grammy winner hits a milestone that Cardi has seen before and helps her keep her longevity track record perfect.
Cardi B’s Am I the Drama? Hits One Year on the Billboard 200
Am I the Drama? celebrates 52 weeks on the Billboard 200, its first year as one of the 200 most-consumed albums in the nation. The ranking is compiled using both sales and streaming data, and it shows what Americans are listening to. There are also tallies that focus specifically on which albums rack up the most plays on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music and which ones sell the most copies, though Am I the Drama? doesn’t appear on either of those rundowns at the moment. As the full-length hits its landmark on the busy albums roster, it drops from No. 105 to No. 113.
Both Cardi B Albums Have Charted for at Least a Year
Cardi has only reached the Billboard 200 with two titles, and both have held on for at least a year. Invasion of Privacy debuted on the roster in April 2018, hitting No. 1 as it arrived. The project racked up a total of 226 stays on the 200-space list. Both Invasion of Privacy and Am I the Drama? scored only one turn at the summit.
Am I the Drama? Hits 52 Weeks on Three Billboard Charts
Am I the Drama? appears on three Billboard charts and hits the same milestone on all of them simultaneously. In addition to the Billboard 200, the sophomore set dips to No. 21 on the Top Rap Albums chart and No. 36 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums ranking.
Cardi B’s “AH HA” Reaches No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay Chart
While Am I the Drama? is still performing well enough to land on multiple Billboard rosters, Cardi has moved on to a single that does not appear on that full-length. “AH HA” was released in late July and may serve as a taste of her as-yet-untitled upcoming third album. This week, the track earns Cardi her twelfth No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay chart as it surges from third place to the peak position.

“AH HA” Reaches New Peaks on Four Additional Charts
“AH HA” reaches new high points on another four Billboard rankings at the same time that it leads the Rhythmic Airplay roster. The single jumps 10 spaces to No. 24 on the Radio Songs chart, while it inches one rung to No. 9 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay roster.
Cardi comes even closer to another leader on the Rap Airplay tally, where “AH HA” advances and lands in the runner-up rung. It may only be a matter of days before the smash reaches the summit and adds to her growing total of champions.
