Ariana Grande continues to promote her latest album Petal, which arrived only about two months ago and is still performing well on the Billboard charts. That set, which has largely been powered by two smashes – “Hate That I Made You Love Me” and the title track – racks up millions of streams per week and is selling particularly well, especially for a full-length that has lived on multiple rosters for seven stints now.
One of Grande’s earlier projects, a fan favorite and critical darling, brings her to a chart milestone she’s never seen before, even as the focus remains on Petal for the time being.
Thank U, Next Reaches 200 Weeks on the Billboard 200
Thank U, Next is Grande’s longest-charting set on the Billboard 200, which ranks the most-consumed albums and EPs in the United States. The roster is built using both pure sales and streaming activity. As of this frame, Thank U, Next becomes Grande’s first full-length to celebrate 200 turns as one of the 200 most popular releases in the nation. This time around, the project can only be found on a single ranking, and it holds at No. 186.
Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next Ruled for Multiple Weeks
Thank U, Next debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in February 2019. It is one of Grande’s seven champions – out of 10 top 10s – on the competitive tally.
More than half of Grande’s No. 1s have only ruled once, but Thank U, Next is tied with Positions as her second-longest-running leader, with two frames in the top spot. Only Eternal Sunshine beat those runs by a single moment in the spotlight.

Five Ariana Grande Albums Have Charted for 100 Weeks
Grande has sent a dozen projects to the Billboard 200 throughout her career, and five of them have spent at least 100 weeks as one of the most popular collections in the nation. Dangerous Woman, which missed out on dominating the tally by a single rung, has spent 172 weeks on the tally. In terms of longevity, it is followed by Eternal Sunshine, Positions and My Everything with 132, 107 and 100 frames, respectively.
Ariana Grande Fills Three Spaces on the Billboard 200
Grande fills three spaces on the Billboard 200 this week. Petal declines one spot to No. 7, while Eternal Sunshine improves four spaces to No. 119. Thank U, Next holds at No. 186 as it reaches its long-in-the-works milestone.
Both Eternal Sunshine and Thank U, Next only take up space on the Billboard 200 at the moment, but Petal is a winner on a quartet of tallies. As it descends one spot on the Billboard 200, the collection also falls by a single space on the Top Streaming Albums chart, where it settles at No. 18.
At the same time, Petal improves on the Top Album Sales chart, almost reconquering that tally – which looks at the bestselling releases in America, regardless of format – but it makes due with second place instead. The full-length does regain control over the Vinyl Albums chart, leaping all the way from last place, No. 25, to the summit.
