This week, when looking at these fantasy football start or sit decisions, we have some bye weeks. The teams with a bye in Week 5 are the Kansas City Chiefs and the Carolina Panthers.
With that said, just like always, any player ranked outside the top 20 for running backs and wide receivers can be a start, with the expectation that anyone ranked exactly at the cutoff can be a start or sit. For all other positions, the cutoff goes down to eight.
The rankings we’ll be referencing for this article are from the Week 5 FantasyPros expert consensus PPR rankings.
