Ariana Grande is keeping the promotion of her latest album Petal going shortly after it brought her back to the top spot on multiple Billboard charts. Only a little more than a month after the set dropped, the singer is currently pushing two tracks to radio in America, and both of them, “Hate That I Made You Love Me” and the title tune, are performing well. This frame, those singles climb to new high points, while a decade-plus-old composition from the Grammy winner also establishes new peak positions in a completely different way.
Ariana Grande Fills Two Spaces on the Radio Songs Chart
On this week’s Radio Songs chart, the list of tracks that reach the largest total audiences across America via all radio stations, Grande fills two spaces, and both of her hits rise higher than ever. “Hate That I Made You Love Me” advances from No. 6 to No. 3. Simultaneously, “Petal” climbs two spots and almost breaks into the top 40, settling one rung beneath that tier at No. 41.
“Hate That I Made You Love Me” Joins Six Ariana Grande Hits
“Petal” is Grande’s only track to peak at No. 41, at least so far, but No. 3 seems to be a very special number for her. Seven tunes in her discography have stalled in third place on the Radio Songs chart. “Hate That I Made You Love Me” joins “No Tears Left to Cry,” “Side to Side” with Nicki Minaj, “34+35,” “Thank U, Next,” “Love Me Harder,” one of multiple collaborations with The Weeknd, and “Breathin.”

It’s entirely possible that in the coming weeks, “Hate That I Made You Love Me” will advance and perhaps hit No. 2, or even No. 1. A trio of tracks by Grande — “Positions,” “Problem” with Iggy Azalea and “Save Your Tears,” another team-up with The Weeknd — all missed out on ruling by one frustrating rung.
Grande has scored only two No. 1s on the Radio Songs chart – a very small number for a star as successful as she is – and both led the charge for a pair of frames. Her own “7 Rings” and “Die for You,” yet one more collaboration with The Weeknd, both ruled several years apart from one another.
Ariana Grande’s “Petal” Rises to New Peaks on Two Lists
“Hate That I Made You Love Me” only reaches a new peak on the Radio Songs chart, while “Petal” climbs to a new high point on a pair of tallies – the only two where it advances this frame. In addition to reaching No. 41 on the Radio Songs ranking, “Petal” dances one spot north to No. 33 on the Adult Pop Airplay roster. Last time around, it sat at No. 16 on the Pop Airplay chart, and now it backtracks, slipping one rung.

Grande’s “Into You,” a single taken from her album Dangerous Woman which turned 10 only a short time ago, is growing in popularity all around the world again. The tune has been on the rise throughout the past few weeks, and it reaches important new positions this period.
“Into You” hits new peaks on both of Billboard’s worldwide charts this week. The track climbs from No. 135 to No. 132 on the Billboard Global 200 and from No. 143 to No. 136 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
