‘Drawn Together’ And ‘El Juicio’ Lead Prime Video Charts

Drawn Together continues its chart dominance

Drawn Together held onto the top spot on Prime Video’s global film Top 10 for the second week running. In its second week since premiering, the Spanish original stayed in the overall Top 10 across all languages and led the non-English film list.

A young adult thriller romance from Culpables creator Mercedes Ron, Enfrentados: Marfil adapts the first chapter of her Enfrentados duology. It stars Ester Expósito (Venus, Élite) as Marfil Cortés, daughter of a powerful Spanish tycoon, whose life unravels after she is abducted and released under murky circumstances. Hugo Diego García (The Substance) plays Sebastian Moore, the bodyguard hired to protect her. Despite her independence and his professional distance, the two grow close as the threats against her mount.

Drawn Together had plenty of company from four other Ron adaptations. All three films from her Culpables trilogy, Culpa Mia, Culpa Tuya, and Culpa Nuestra, plus Tell Me Softly (Dímelo Bajito), the first installment of her Dímelo trilogy, held their staying power on the non-English film chart.

Two more Spanish films and one Argentinian title rounded out the list, pushing Spanish-language films to eight of the week’s top 10 spots.

A Mexican drama series breaks through

On the series side, El Juicio topped the non-English Top 10 and reached No. 4 on the overall series chart, competing directly with English-language heavyweights like Reacher, Neagley, and The Boys. The series premiered September 11, so the ranking arrived less than two weeks after its debut.

Starring Eugenio Derbez (Radical) and Pedro Alonso (Money Heist), the eight-episode dramatic thriller draws from true stories. The plot kicks off when the son of a powerful businessman is accused of sexually abusing a female classmate. From there, the parents of both teenagers square off in a fight where justice, power, and privilege collide, testing the line between right and wrong.

The bigger picture

The titles and their countries of origin point to a familiar pattern for Prime Video’s international content strategy. Compelling stories and strong local productions travel well, and streaming has given them a global stage.

Last week’s non-English chart showed that stage belonged largely to Spanish-language content, with Ron’s franchise anchoring the film chart and a Mexican thriller proving that homegrown stories can hold their own against the biggest names in English-language TV.
