Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” returns to two sales charts while rising on two others, as the band’s albums also gain ground. Fleetwood Mac’s catalog is packed to the brim with hits, especially from the ’70s and ’80s. Many of those tunes are featured on a handful of massively successful albums, with Rumours, of course, being the standout.
Fleetwood Mac typically appears on charts with a pair of collections, Rumours and Greatest Hits, and sometimes with one or two tunes, if not several, in any given period. While many casual listeners tend to focus on the most famous singles from the outfit’s bestselling albums, there is one favorite that was not initially selected as a single, but the love from fans helped turn it into one later in life. It remains a classic and one of the best-written tracks by the American and English group.
This week, Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” is once again one of the 100 most popular songs in the United Kingdom, and it becomes a sudden bestseller again.
Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” Returns to Two Sales Tallies
“Landslide” returns to both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts this week, settling at Nos. 46 and 49 on those tallies, respectively. The former focuses only on digital downloads, while the latter is more all-encompassing, factoring in downloads as well as purchases on physical formats.
Somewhat surprisingly, “Landslide” has only spent about a month on both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts – five frames on the more all-encompassing of the two rosters and half a dozen on the downloads list. The track debuted on both tallies in July 2024 and hit its peak, breaking into the top 40 on the two related rankings, in January of this year. “Landslide” has not been seen on the Official Singles Sales chart since late January 2026, or on the downloads rundown since May.
Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” Rises on Two Other Lists
“Landslide” also rises on both the Official Streaming and Official Singles charts. The cut jumps from No. 84 on the streaming-focused tally, which looks entirely at plays on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and others. On the Official Singles chart, the ranking of the most-consumed songs of any style in the U.K., “Landslide” advances to No. 92.
Somewhat shockingly, “Landslide” is Fleetwood Mac’s most recent win on both of those registers. It launched in January of this year, scoring Fleetwood Mac its first new smash on the Official Singles chart – the most important and competitive songs ranking in the nation – in more than 15 years.
Fleetwood Mac Charts Four Hits in the U.K.
“Landslide” is one of four hits by Fleetwood Mac that appear on any of the U.K. rosters this frame. Both “Dreams” and “Everywhere” can be located on the Official Singles and Official Streaming charts, while “The Chain” only takes up space on the streaming tally. That is in part because the Official Charts Company only allows every name, be it a soloist or group, to fill three spaces on the main songs ranking at a time, at least as a lead act.
Fleetwood Mac’s Albums Are Also on the Rise
Perhaps buoyed by the increase in purchases of “Landslide,” Fleetwood Mac’s Greatest Hits rises on two tallies and returns as a top 40 bestseller on the Official Vinyl Albums chart, but only barely, as it reenters at No. 40.
Another compilation, 50 Years – Don’t Stop, only lives on two rankings: the Official Albums chart and Official Albums Streaming list. Impressively, the set remains a top 10 hit on both of them.
Rumours appears on more lists across the Atlantic than 50 Years – Don’t Stop and Greatest Hits combined, and it is largely on the incline. The Grammy winner for Album of the Year only falls on the Official Album Downloads chart, but otherwise rises on several other sales lists, a streaming ranking and the general look at the 100 most popular sets in the U.K.
