Harry Styles’s “Sign of the Times” reaches a new peak on the Billboard Global 200 as his tour expansion also lifts several newer hits. Harry Styles recently announced a new leg of his Together, Together Tour, essentially doubling the length of the venture. The Grammy winner first began playing shows on the trek in May, and he was initially only headed to a handful of cities: Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York City, Melbourne and Sydney.
In 2027, Styles will hit the road again and travel to a few locales within the United States, as well as a trip to Canada and across several nations in Europe, with the next chapter of his massive run expected to end next August.
The exciting reveal has helped the superstar rise on charts all around the world, both with his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., and with his first solo single. That early-career track rises to a new peak and nearly becomes a top 40 smash on one of Billboard’s most competitive rankings.
Harry Styles’s “Sign of the Times” Reaches a New Peak
“Sign of the Times” surges on the Billboard Global 200, which ranks the most popular tracks around the world using streaming and sales data from more than 200 territories. Last week, the cut sat at No. 53. Now it comes within one space of finally becoming a top 40 hit on the list, settling at a new high of No. 41, 32 weeks into its run on the tally.
“Sign of the Times” Ties “Paint by Numbers”
As “Sign of the Times” improves and hits No. 41, it ties with another Styles track that also stalled in that space only a few months ago. “Paint by Numbers,” featured on Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., debuted at No. 41 in March and then disappeared. The tune has not returned since.
“Sign of the Times” Holds at Its Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Peak
“Sign of the Times” is present on both of the company’s worldwide tallies this frame. As it ascends to a never-before-seen height on the Billboard Global 200, the smash holds at its all-time peak of No. 37 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
The Billboard Global Excl. U.S. is compiled in a similar manner to the Billboard Global 200, using streaming and sales data from around the world, but all consumption from the United States is left out of its methodology. Last time around, “Sign of the Times” stepped up to No. 37, matching “Dance No More,” the third official single from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., which peaked in that position back in March.
Harry Styles Fills Two Spaces on Both Global Charts
Styles fills two spaces on both of the planet-spanning rankings this time around. “As It Was” declines on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S., falling to Nos. 88 and 79, respectively.
Another track from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., second single “American Girls,” can be found only on the entirely worldwide roster, but not the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. The former No. 1 rises a lucky 13 spaces to land at No. 170 on the Billboard Global 200.
Harry Styles’s “American Girls” Climbs at Radio in the U.S.
“American Girls” is the only Styles cut to appear on any solely American roster. The track climbs one spot to No. 19 on the Adult Contemporary chart, one of Billboard’s pop trio of radio rankings. That puts the tune only three pegs beneath its all-time high of No. 16.
