Blackpink superstar Jennie has been riding high on the Billboard charts throughout 2026, thanks to her hugely successful collaboration with Tame Impala. The alternative act, fronted by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, recruited Jennie to record vocals for a remix of the song “Dracula,” and the duet has proved to be one of the most popular tunes in the world so far this year.
Jennie recently dropped a solo single titled “Less Than a Lover,” which arrived in mid-July. While the cut was not a huge smash, it turned out to be only the first taste of a very short studio effort. In the last days of August, Jennie returned with a three-song digital EP titled Fallen Angel. A physical product that more than doubles the set’s length is coming this fall, and Jennie may produce yet another single from that forthcoming effort.
Both of Jennie’s new tunes featured on her EP become Billboard chart wins this week, though it’s clear that her fans have a favorite.
Jennie’s “Fallen Angel” Debuts on Two Billboard Charts
“Fallen Angel” debuts on both of Billboard’s worldwide songs rankings this week, and it performs considerably better on the tally that excludes American consumption. The track launches at No. 57 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and No. 117 on the Billboard Global 200.
The two rosters are compiled using similar sales and streaming data from around the world, though the Billboard Global 200 includes activity from the United States, while the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. ignores it entirely. Jennie’s stronger showing on the latter makes sense, as she is a star around the planet, but she enjoys intense popularity throughout Asian territories, including her native South Korea.
“Heaven” Gives Jennie Another Global Hit
“Heaven,” the other new tune featured on Fallen Angel, debuts on only one of those two worldwide charts. The song opens at No. 182 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
Jennie is now up to 16 career appearances on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., a sum that grows by two this week thanks to “Fallen Angel” and “Heaven.” She has collected 14 hits so faer on the Billboard Global 200.
“Less Than a Lover” Returns at the Same Time
“Less Than a Lover,” the first single from the Fallen Angel EP, also becomes a hit again, though only on one ranking. The track reenters the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at No. 103. The single debuted at its No. 11 peak this summer and has now spent about a month in total on the roster.
Jennie’s “Dracula” Returns to a Sales Chart
Jennie scores another comeback this week as “Dracula” returns to the Digital Song Sales chart. The Tame Impala collaboration barely makes it back onto the ranking, reentering at No. 25 – in last place – after previously climbing as high as No. 7.
“Dracula” rises back to its No. 2 peak on the Radio Songs chart. At the same time, it holds at No. 1 on both the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and Dance Streaming Songs rankings.
The collaboration remains a top 10 hit on two of Billboard’s most competitive songs tallies as well. “Dracula” holds at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and slips to No. 9 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
