Kiss scores a new U.K. bestseller with “Beth,” which debuts inside the top 20 on both the Official Vinyl Singles and Official Physical Singles rankings. The band Kiss officially split at the end of 2023 after performing one last show at Madison Square Garden. Since then, the group has not released new material nor toured, but there’s still plenty of activity surrounding the Kiss name.
A handful of releases have come from the brand, and fans of the outfit remain as dedicated as ever, regularly helping Kiss return to charts all around the world – sometimes with decades-old material. The group scores a new bestseller in the United Kingdom this frame as a classic from the outfit’s discography becomes a hit for the first time on multiple rankings.
Kiss’s “Beth” Debuts on Two Charts in the U.K.
“Beth” debuts on a pair of purchase-focused charts in the U.K. this week. The classic opens at No. 16 on the Official Vinyl Singles ranking and No. 19 on the Official Physical Singles tally.
Kiss Scores More Vinyl and Physical Sales Smashes
Kiss is now up to three wins on the Official Vinyl Singles chart, which measures the top-selling songs available to purchase on wax. The group has earned one more smash on the Official Physical Singles tally, which operates in nearly an identical manner, though in addition to vinyl sales, purchases on CD and cassette are also factored into its methodology.
While Kiss may have broken up several years ago, 2026 has become the band’s biggest year yet on the two related rosters. On the Official Vinyl Singles chart, two of the group’s three wins debuted in 2026. Back in April, “A Special Kiss Tour” spent one frame on the tally at No. 35.
Over on the Official Physical Singles ranking, both “A Special Kiss Tour” and “Detroit Rock City” have become bestsellers within the past few months. “Detroit Rock City” brought Kiss to a new low when it debuted on the rundown only last week, opening at No. 65 before quickly disappearing.
Kiss Has Scored Only One Top 10 Bestseller in the U.K.
The only other Kiss tune to appear on either ranking is “Down on Your Knees,” which brought the rockers to the two lists for the first time in the spring of 2021. That song peaked at No. 4 on the Official Vinyl Singles chart and No. 6 on the Official Physical Singles roster.
“Beth” and “Detroit Rock City” Chart 50 Years After Their Release
Kiss recently released a seven-inch single featuring “Detroit Rock City” on one side and “Beth” on the other, and now both tunes have become hits in their own right. The pair were originally selected as singles from Destroyer, one of the most celebrated albums in the Kiss catalog. The full-length turned 50 earlier this year, and the new physical release has helped bring two of its best-known hits back to commercial viability in the U.K.
Kiss Recently Landed a New Album
September 2026 has proved to be a particularly active period for Kiss on the U.K. charts, though not with new material. In addition to scoring multiple bestselling songs, the group recently collected fresh album wins as well.

Destroys Anaheim ’76 debuted on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Album Downloads charts in the earliest days of this month. The live collection launched at Nos. 47 and 50 on those rosters, respectively.
