Thoughts

Although they correlated QB-WR, there was no bring-back on the Minnesota side. The only other correlation was RB/WR in the Chicago-Carolina game. The rest of the players were one-offs who exceeded their projections and were, for the most part, under 10% drafted.

A cash game single entry (double-up)was won with 226.60 points.

Thoughts

Four players did not exceed their projection/cost point: Washington, Johnson, McConkey, and the Bears. Utilization of the game environment was more evident: QB-WR-TE/RB-WR in the Saints/Lions game, which was the second-highest total game. And the RB/WR in the highest-scoring game on the slate.

Best Stacks

For the best sacks, we are seeking out the best game environment. If one team pushes, can another team follow? Or do we have a team that will keep pushing even if they get ahead?

Washington’s defense pressured Jalen Hurts on 9.4% of his dropbacks last week. It resulted in 18 pressures and three sacks. And while they held Saquon Barkley to 83 yards, half of those yards (42) were on one run. That is one of the five explosive plays the Commanders’ defense allowed, including a 64-yard catch by Dontayvion Wicks.

Last season, the Cowboys’ defense gave up the most rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks. Their issues with mobile quarterbacks continued in Week1 as Jaxon Dart averaged 4.9 yards per carry, gathering 54 yards on 11 attempts.

The Cowboys’ 44.4% blitz rate resulted in 11 pressures and two sacks.

This game has the widest possible outcome. Ben Johnson has had good outings against Brian Flores’ defenses. If that happens this week, the Vikings will be pushed to match the offensive outings.

The Chicago Bears defense: In Week 1 collected 16 QB hurries, 22 pressures, two sacks, and an interception. They also allowed Bryce Young to throw for 361 passing yards with three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. Their EPA allowed per play of +0.18 ranks 26th for the week.

Caleb Williams in 2025 faced Brian Flores’ defense in Weeks 1 and 11. In Week 1, he faced 16 pressures on a 37.2% blitz rate. Williams went 21-of-35, 210 yards, 1 touchdown, and zero interceptions. In Week 11, he was blitzed 66.7% with 14 pressures. Williams finished 21-of-29, 269 yards, two passing touchdowns, and two rushing touchdowns.

It’s early, but after Week 1, the Jaguars looked impressive, and the Broncos looked lost. The Broncos’ defense had 28 missed tackles. They allowed Kenneth Walker to average 7.5 yards per carry while amassing 173 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown run.

The Jaguars’ defense pressured Deshaun Watson 44.8% (fourth-most for the week), collected five sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble.

One-Offs or Contrarian

These lineup suggestions do not depend on the game environment but instead focus on high-ceiling potential.

Young has consistently played well in Mercedes-Benz Stadium and seemingly owns the Atlanta Falcons. The only question is, who is he bringing with him?

For his career, he is 4-1 against the Falcons. In the game in Atlanta last year, he was 31-of-45, 448 yards, with three passing touchdowns and zero interceptions. For his career against the Falcons, he has averaged 226.6 passing yards with seven touchdowns and two interceptions.

QB G.Smith $4800 + RB B. Hall $6200/ WR C. Watson $6200

This lineup leaves you with $5467 for the remaining five positions.

Jets played 13 personnel (three tight ends) 17.5% of the time last week ( 5th most) and ran 72.7% of the time out of this formation (ninth-highest rate).

The Jets’ defense had the third-highest blitz rate (46.2%), a pressure rate of 38.5%, and finished with five quarterback hits and three sacks.

Jordan Love has a 53.8% completion rate when pressured and a 51.5% completion percentage when blitzed.
