Raye Charts A New No. 1 Smash — And She’s Joined By Her Sisters

Raye’s “Joy” Debuts at No. 1 on Two Charts

“Joy” – which also credits Raye’s sisters Amma and Absolutely, who are both singer-songwriters as well – debuts at No. 1 on both the Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles charts this frame. The track gives Amma and Absolutely their first leaders on the two rankings, while Raye earns her third.

Raye first worked her way to the summit on the tallies with “Genesis” in June 2024. A little more than a year later, “Where Is My Husband!” doubled that sum and spent multiple frames ruling.

Raye nearly collected her third leader a few months back with “Nightingale Lane,” another tune featured on This Music May Contain Hope, but that cut stalled at No. 2 in April. Just weeks later, “Suzanne,” a collaboration with Mark Ronson, became a bestseller as well, reaching No. 14 on the two tallies.

“Joy” Brings Raye Back to the Main U.K. Singles Tally

“Joy” debuts on three of the five rankings where it can be found in the U.K. at the moment. In addition to ruling both the Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles charts, the collaboration launches at No. 93 on the Official Singles tally. Raye earns her thirty-second career appearance on the main ranking of the most popular songs of any kind in the country.

Raye Scores Another Sales Chart Top 10 Smash

“Joy” also returns to another two rosters following its release on vinyl and revamped sales activity. The track reenters the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts at Nos. 3 and 75, respectively, establishing new peaks on the pair. This frame is only the second time that “Joy” has appeared on either ranking.

While “Joy” does not come close to the highest tier on the Official Singles Downloads chart, its No. 3 placement on the Official Singles Sales ranking gives Raye one more top 10 bestseller. She is now up to 11 appearances between Nos. 1 and 10 on the tally, including a pair of leaders.

Raye’s Earlier Hits Return Alongside “Joy”

All the excitement surrounding the vinyl release of “Joy,” as well as a music video featuring all three singers, helps several other tracks featured on This Music May Contain Hope become hits again.

“Click Clack Symphony,” Raye’s collaboration with Hans Zimmer, returns to three rankings at once. The song reenters the Official Vinyl Singles, Official Physical Singles and Official Singles Sales charts at Nos. 6, 7 and 48, respectively – immediately becoming a top 10 win again on multiple rundowns.

“Where Is My Husband!” also finds its way back into the highest region. The early-campaign cut reenters the Official Vinyl Singles chart at No. 7 and simultaneously rockets from No. 63 to No. 8 on the Official Physical Singles tally. This week, Raye controls three spaces inside the top 10 on both rankings.

“Where Is My Husband!” gains ground on several other U.K. charts as well. It climbs to No. 16 on both the Official Streaming and Official Singles Sales rankings and to No. 18 on the Official Singles Downloads tally, while holding at No. 40 on the Official Singles chart.
