Broadway’s biggest celebration of the year takes place Sunday night at the 79th annual Tony Awards at Radio City Musical Hall in New York City.
The musicals The Lost Boys and Schmigadoon! lead the nominations going into the ceremony with 12 nods each, while the revival of the classic musical Ragtime is next with 11.
The Lost Boys and Schmigadoon! are both up for Best Musical, as well as Titaníque and Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York). Ragtime is in the running for Best Revival of a Musical alongside Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Ragtime and Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show.
The nominees for the Best Play Tony are The Balusters, Giant, Liberation and Little Bear Ridge Road. Up for Best Revival for a play are Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, Becky Shaw, Every Brilliant Thing, Fallen Angels and Oedipus.
Grammy-winning singing sensation P!NK will host The 79th annual Tony Awards, which will be broadcast live starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS and will be available to stream for Paramount+ Premium subscribers through their local CBS affiliates.
The ceremony will be available to watch on demand for Paramount+ Essential and Paramount+ Premium subscribers on Monday. The ad-free Paramount+ Premium costs $13.99 per month, while Paramount+ Essential is $8.99 per month.
