Amanda Freitag and Scott Conant
Simple Alien, 2026
Amanda Freitag and Scott Conant will join the All Chewed Up Channel with new weekly cooking series beginning November 7th.
Freitag will host Ask Amanda: Chef on the Line, a 15-episode interactive series in which viewers can submit questions about cooking, entertaining and food. The series will also address viewers’ food opinions, cooking challenges and personal kitchen experiences.
FreshDirect, an online grocery retailer serving the New York metropolitan area, will serve as the series’ grocery partner and sponsor. Production will take place at FreshDirect’s New York City headquarters, with the company’s test kitchen serving as the setting for the series.
“The best part about Ask Amanda is that I have no idea what’s coming,” Freitag said in a statement. “Real-time questions from viewers, live callers, a live audience eventually. It’s completely unscripted, spontaneous, and I’m here for it.”
Scott Conant will host a second new series, whose title has not yet been announced. The program will focus on his approach to Italian cooking and combine food preparation with conversation and stories from his career.
Conant has worked in the culinary industry for nearly four decades, including as a chef, restaurateur and television personality, including as a judge on the Food Network series Chopped. He has also received a James Beard Award and operated restaurants in several U.S. cities.
The series will be filmed in front of a live studio audience at Hudson Table, an interactive culinary studio with locations in Hoboken, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Stamford and Princeton. Hudson Table is serving as the venue partner for the program. Tickets for live tapings are available through the company.
“Food has always been a conduit for connection for me, so the opportunity to cook live, share stories, and interact with an audience in the moment is incredibly exciting,” Conant said. “This project gives me a chance to do what I love most—cook for people and connect with them around the table.”
The two programs will join Simply Symons, Michael Symon’s backyard-style cooking series, as part of All Chewed Up’s new Saturday programming lineup. The shows will be available on YouTube, podcast platforms and the All Chewed Up Channel, Channel 103 on LG Channels.
All Chewed Up was launched by Simple Alien with chefs and television personalities Carla Hall, Michael Symon and Clinton Kelly. The digital-first network features food and lifestyle programming and operates a 24/7 FAST channel on LG Channels.
“We’re building entertainment around how fans actually want to engage with hosts they already know, love and trust,” Simple Alien founders Nick Panagopulos and Marissa Ronca said in a joint statement. “Ask Amanda and Scott Conant are the next step in that vision.”
The new programs expand All Chewed Up’s lineup of creator-led food and lifestyle programming and add two established culinary television personalities to its Saturday schedule.
