In a matter of weeks, Ariana Grande will release Petal, her upcoming eighth album. The superstar began promoting the project recently by dropping its lead single “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” which impacts charts globally this week. The song is an immediate No. 1 in the United Kingdom, where it becomes Grande’s historic eighth leader on the Official Singles chart.
The focus at the moment may be on “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” but the Grammy winner and Oscar-nominated actress also recently re-released her decade-old set Dangerous Woman to celebrate the project’s tenth anniversary. A slightly updated version dropped on May 20, including the previously unreleased track “Knew Better Part Two.”
The anniversary drop was quickly overshadowed by “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” but Dangerous Woman does manage to return to the charts in the U.K., and on some rankings, it even establishes new peak positions.
Ariana Grande Returns With Dangerous Woman
Dangerous Woman finds its way back to four U.K.-based rankings this week, and it rises higher than ever on half of them. On the Official Vinyl Albums chart, Dangerous Woman comes in at No. 3. Previously, it topped out at No. 8, where the set launched back in 2022.
The bestseller nearly matches that position on the Official Physical Albums tally, which includes vinyl sales as well as CD and cassette purchases in its methodology. Dangerous Woman breaks back onto that slightly more competitive chart at No. 4. As it returns, Dangerous Woman earns its second stay inside the top 10, as the project kicked off its time on the list at No. 7 in the summer of 2016.
Dangerous Woman Reappears on Multiple Lists
Dangerous Woman returns to, but does not reach new heights on, another two rankings across the Atlantic. The set is back at No. 5 on the Official Albums Sales chart, just two spaces beneath its No. 3 peak.

Grande also reappears on the Official Albums list, the 100-space rundown of the most-consumed collections in the nation. Dangerous Woman has already led the charge on that roster. It is one of her five champions, and this time around, it settles at No. 17.
Dangerous Woman Becomes a Vinyl Bestseller Again
Dangerous Woman is relatively new to the Official Vinyl Albums chart, even though it debuted on the rundown years ago. The poppy project has only spent four frames as a vinyl bestseller. It’s up to 38 turns on the physical register, 43 stints on the sales tally and 115 – more than on the other three charts combined – on the Official Albums list.
Ariana Grande Brings Eternal Sunshine Back
Two full-lengths by Grande mount comebacks in the U.K. this week. Dangerous Woman was reissued, while Eternal Sunshine, her most recent set, seems to benefit simply from the excitement of a tenth anniversary re-release and the arrival of “Hate That I Made You Love Me.” This week, Eternal Sunshine bounds back onto both the Official Albums Streaming and Official Albums charts, landing at Nos. 80 and 85, respectively. In the past nearly 100 weeks it has spent on the two rankings, Eternal Sunshine has already hit No. 1.
Ariana Grande Rules With “Hate That I Made You Love Me”
Grande claims five hit songs in the U.K., with “Hate That I Made You Love Me” being the biggest of the bunch. Unsurprisingly, that Petal track launches at No. 1 on the Official Singles, Official Singles Sales, Official Singles Downloads, Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles charts, increasing her total count of leaders. “Hate That I Made You Love Me” only misses out on ruling the Official Streaming roster, where it launches in third place.
