Bring Me the Horizon Debuts One Smash Inside the Top 10

Four tracks from Count Your Blessings: Repented. debut on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart this week. Each week, the tally details the most popular hard rock tracks in the United States. Like every “Hot” roster published by Billboard, radio airplay, sales and streams determine where a cut lands.

“Pray for Plagues (Repented.)” performs best among the new arrivals, opening at No. 8. The launch gives Bring Me the Horizon its twenty-third career top 10 hit on the genre tally.

Three Additional BMTH Tracks Launch

Three additional re-recorded tunes open lower on the same list. “Tell Slater Not to Wash His Dick (Repented.),” “I Used to Make Out With Medusa (Repented.)” and “For Stevie Wonder’s Eyes Only (Braille) (Repented.)” debut at Nos. 17, 19 and 20, respectively. The band’s four new entries take Bring Me the Horizon to a milestone 35 career appearances on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.

Bring Me the Horizon Sends One Hit Back

Bring Me the Horizon began promoting Count Your Blessings: Repented. in mid-June with “Black & Blue (Repented.).” That track returns to the Hot Hard Rock Songs ranking this frame at No. 22.

“Black & Blue (Repented.)” previously climbed as high as No. 9, giving the band another top 10 hit. The cut has now spent four weeks — nearly a full month — somewhere on the tally.

Bring Me the Horizon’s Biggest Current Win Slips

“Dehumanized” remains Bring Me the Horizon’s highest-ranking song in America this week. The one new composition added to Count Your Blessings: Repented. slips slightly from No. 4 to No. 6 as several other tracks from the project debut.

Earlier this month, “Dehumanized” started its time on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart at No. 1. The immediate arrival in first place gave Bring Me the Horizon its seventh career champion on the ranking.

Between “Dehumanized,” four debuts and the returning “Black & Blue (Repented.),” Bring Me the Horizon fills half a dozen spaces on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart this frame. Only one other act, Motionless in White, scores multiple hits. That band appears with “R.I.P.” with Skylar Grey, “Afraid of the Dark” and “Playing God” with Corey Taylor, which make space at Nos. 1, 4 and 15, respectively.

Count Your Blessings: Repented. Misses the Albums Charts

Notably, despite its obvious popularity, Count Your Blessings: Repented. does not appear on any Billboard albums chart this week, even though six tracks connected to the release reach the Hot Hard Rock Songs ranking. Bring Me the Horizon, fronted by lead singer Ollie Sykes, has placed seven projects on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart throughout its career. All but one of those releases broke into the top 10. Two of the band’s projects have ruled the ranking. That’s the Spirit and Post Human: Nex Gen each spent one week at No. 1.
