A C-37A jet reported to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport it lost its right engine, before landing safely, according to multiple outlets.
Mullin confirmed the incident in a post, saying Coast Guard pilots “made the single engine landing feel routine,” adding, “No panic, just straight professionalism.”
Mullin said he was told by the pilots it was the first time they experienced an engine failure.
