Exclusive: Funko is unveiling a look at its Avengers: Doomsday Pop! figures of some of the the X-Men characters appearing in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe action-adventure.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters nationwide on Dec. 18. In addition to the upcoming film’s trailers, Marvel fans are currently getting a sneak peek at the upcoming MCU chapter with the Russo brothers’ Avengers: Endgame Encore. Released in theaters on Sept. 25, the extended version of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame includes four new end credits scenes that serve as a bridge to the events of Avengers: Doomsday.
The unveiling of Funko’s Pop! figures based on the key characters from Avengers: Doomsday on Monday comes a day after Avengers: Endgame reclaimed the all-time global box office record from James Cameron’s 2009 blockbuster Avatar. As of Sunday, Avengers: Endgame has earned $2.9255 billion to become the highest-grossing movie of all time at the worldwide box office, which is followed by Avatar’s global tally of $2.9255 billion.
Avengers: Doomsday features the return of Robert Downey Jr. to the MCU as Doctor Doom, which came a surprise to fans after his character, Tony Stark/Iron Man, died at the end of Avengers: Endgame.
Other core Avengers: Endgame cast members returning for Avengers: Doomsday include Chris Evans (Captain America/Steve Rogers), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Letitia Wright (Shuri/Black Panther) and Winston Duke (M’Baku), while the core stars of the 2025 MCU chapters Fantastic Four: First Steps and Thunderbolts* join the latest Avengers film.
Also making their debuts in an Avengers film are Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), James Marsden (Cyclops), Kelsey Grammer (Beast) and Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler) from 20th Century Fox’s X-Men franchise, as well as Channing Tatum (Gambit) from Fox-turned-20th Century Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine.
As such, five of the X-Men team members as they appear in Avengers: Doomsday — as well as one of their massive adversaries — are among the new Funko Pop! figures in the overall lineup. Pops! figures, of course, are stylized vinyl figures that are reminiscent of bobbleheads.

The X-Men Funko Pop! Lineup From ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Includes A Jumbo Sentinel
In Funko’s description of Avengers: Doomsday, the Pop! figure company says, “Many of your favorite heroes will return after tragedy leaves some with new purpose and others with new vengeance.”
According to Funko, the Pop! figures of the X-Men characters appearing in Avengers: Doomsday include Magneto, Cyclops, Gambit, Nightcrawler and Beast. Standing between 3.8 inches and 4.8 inches in height, the X-Men Pop! figures will retail for $14.99 apiece.
In addition, Funko is releasing a jumbo Pop! figure of a Sentinel deployed by Doctor Doom in the Avengers: Doomsday. The Sentinel jumbo Pop! figure is 10 inches tall and will retail for $39.99.
Magneto, Cyclops, Gambit and Sentinel Pop! figures from Avengers: Doomsday will be available to order online on Monday at the Funko retail site and at major retailers, while Nightcrawler will be an Entertainment Earth exclusive and Beast will be a Walmart exclusive. The Nightcrawler and Beast Pops! will be available on Monday as well.
Avengers: Doomsday opens in theaters nationwide on Dec. 18.
