Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has spent 2026 dominating charts all around the globe. Country music is not nearly as popular in other nations as it is in the United States, but occasionally one breakout track can entice millions into falling in love with the style, and that’s exactly what “Choosin’ Texas” has managed.
Each week in the United Kingdom, the blockbuster seems to reach a new peak on one ranking or another, and that happens again this period. At the same time, one of Langley’s older tracks, which has suddenly become a hit across the Atlantic following the incredible success of “Choosin’ Texas,” similarly establishes a new high on a different roster.
Ella Langley Reaches a New Streaming Chart Peak
“Choosin’ Texas” gallops one space to No. 4 on the Official Streaming chart this week. That marks a new all-time high not only for the track, but for Langley herself on the non-genre-specific roster. The smash has now spent exactly half a year, 26 weeks, somewhere on the streaming tally.
Not long ago, Langley doubled her career total on the list with “Be Her,” the follow-up to “Choosin’ Texas,” which has thus far climbed as high as No. 77 and has only spent two frames on the ranking.
“Choosin’ Texas” Is a Top Five Hit Everywhere in the U.K.
“Choosin’ Texas” appears on four U.K. charts this week, and it remains a top five hit on every one of them. The track holds at its all-time high of No. 3 on the Official Singles chart, the most important of the group, while climbing to Nos. 3 and 5 on the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales rankings, respectively. On both of those purchase-focused rosters, “Choosin’ Texas” misses out on returning to its previously-established peak by only one slot.
“Weren’t for the Wind” Reaches a New All-Time Peak
“Weren’t for the Wind” appears on only one U.K. ranking this week, but it continues to move in the right direction. The years-old track inches from No. 81 to a new high of No. 80 on the Official Singles chart in its seventh frame on the tally. It remains the lowest-peaking of Langley’s six career placements on the register, though that distinction could change in the coming weeks. “Bottom of Your Boots,” which is featured on her sophomore album Dandelion, topped out at No. 77 this spring, just a few spaces north of where “Weren’t for the Wind” climbs to this period.
Ella Langley Brings “Be Her” Back to a U.K. Sales Chart
“Be Her” returns to the Official Singles Downloads chart, but only barely, as it makes a home at No. 97. The cut also slips one rung to No. 29 on the Official Singles tally after reaching its No. 28 peak last week. Langley’s track also falls fewer than 10 spaces in its second turn on the Official Streaming chart, where it declines from No. 77 to No. 84.
