Ella Langley has dominated the Billboard Hot 100, the ranking of the 100 most-consumed songs in the United States, throughout much of 2026. She scored her first leader early in the year with “Choosin’ Texas,” and as of this frame, the smash is tied as the longest-running leader ever.
“Choosin’ Texas” earns its twenty-second stay on the Billboard Hot 100 throne, matching “All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey. It may be only a matter of days before Langley passes Carey’s classic, although the yuletide favorite may return to prominence again this December.
The power of “Choosin’ Texas” has helped keep Langley’s sophomore album Dandelion afloat. The project has produced multiple hits, but none have come close to the commercial triumph enjoyed by its lead tune. As Americans continue to stream and buy “Choosin’ Texas” in huge numbers, they are also seemingly loving everything on Dandelion, as the country set returns to the top spot on the most important albums roster in the nation.
Ella Langley’s Dandelion Returns to No. 1
Dandelion rises back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week. Last frame, the full-length sat in third place, and during this especially quiet period, it is able to rule once more.
Luminate reports that during the most recent tracking frame – activity that is reflected on the current Billboard charts – Dandelion shifted 67,500 equivalent units. Of that figure, 9,000 were actual sales. That’s a very healthy sum for a studio effort that was released months ago, especially from a country artist.
Dandelion Ties Two Other 2026 No. 1 Albums
Dandelion has now racked up a total of three weeks atop the Billboard 200. As the collection advances again, it ties Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide and Arirang, the comeback project by K-pop boy band BTS, both of which have also controlled the rundown three times in 2026. They are jointly tied as the second-longest-running No. 1s of the year.

All three land just behind Drake’s Iceman, which holds the current record for the most time spent at the Billboard 200 summit this calendar year. One of three albums Drake released at the same time earlier in 2026, Iceman racked up four turns in the spotlight, and it is still living inside the highest tier on the tally at the moment.
Ella Langley’s Dandelion Climbs on Three Additional Charts
Dandelion can be found on five rosters published by Billboard, and it climbs on three of them. The project returns to the top 10 on the Vinyl Albums chart, ascending from No. 22 to No. 7. At the same time, the set nearly breaks back into that special tier on the Top Album Sales ranking, pushing from No. 21 to No. 11.
On the other two tallies where Dandelion takes up space, it is a non-mover. The full-length is comfortable once again atop the Top Country Albums chart, where it has spent 18 of its 22 weeks. Dandelion also holds in second place on the Top Streaming Albums roster, another roster it has previously conquered.
“Choosin’ Texas” Leads Five Billboard Rankings
“Choosin’ Texas” remains the dominant hit in America as it leads five of the nine Billboard rankings on which it appears. The track holds at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Streaming Songs, Digital Song Sales, Hot Country Songs and Country Streaming Songs charts.
Langley’s blockbuster is also a top 10 hit on every other roster where it can be found. “Choosin’ Texas” appears at Nos. 4, 6, 7 and 10 on the Adult Pop Airplay, Radio Songs, Pop Airplay and Adult Contemporary charts, respectively.
Four Dandelion Tracks Remain Billboard Hits
Of Langley’s eight smashes in the U.S. at the moment, four appear on Dandelion, and the consumption of that quartet of cuts helps the full-length surge back up the Billboard 200. In addition to the reigning “Choosin’ Texas,” “Be Her,” “Loving Life Again” and “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” a collaboration with Morgan Wallen that was added to a digital reissue of Dandelion, can all be found on multiple tallies.
