Ella Langley’s song “Choosin’ Texas” is so huge that it helped the album on which it’s featured, Dandelion, instantly debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The project became the singer’s first leader on the ranking of the most popular full-lengths and EPs in the United States when it arrived this spring.
Dandelion has performed exceptionally well on the busy roster throughout 2026, and at the moment, it appears at No. 2 on the tally. The country blockbuster almost found its way back to No. 1 for a fourth frame, but Miley’s latest project Bass Persuades opens in the peak position instead, beating Dandelion by fewer than 100 equivalent units.
The historic success connected to “Choosin’ Texas” and then Dandelion has helped several other songs in Langley’s catalog, both new and old, as well as her first album, Hungover, return to various rankings published by Billboard and climb to new peak positions throughout 2026. Hungover remains a winner in America this week, and as it continues to live on the Billboard 200, the project brings Langley to a milestone she’s never seen before.
Hungover Reaches Two Years on the Billboard 200
Hungover drops slightly on this week’s Billboard 200, dipping from No. 29 to No. 32. The singer-songwriter’s debut set holds inside the top 40 yet again years after its release.
This frame marks Hungover’s one-hundred-and-fourth on the Billboard 200, which means it has now spent exactly two years somewhere on the 200-space rundown. Unsurprisingly, the full-length is Langley’s longest-charting release on every Billboard list where it appears, and it becomes her first to make it to two years on the all-genre tally.
Dandelion, by comparison, is up to just 24 stints on the Billboard 200, and the two may not have a chance to tie for months, if not years. That would require Hungover to disappear while its follow-up continues charting for well over another year. That is entirely possible for Dandelion, but at the moment, it seems unlikely that Hungover will vanish anytime soon.
Hungover Has Spent More Than Weeks on the Country Chart
The gap in longevity between Hungover and Dandelion is even more pronounced on the Top Country Albums chart. Hungover is up to 112 stays on the genre-specific ranking, where it peaked at No. 5. Hungover rose to that peak position earlier this year based in part on the enormous popularity surrounding Langley and “Choosin’ Texas” – even though that song does not appear on its track list.
Langley has now claimed three wins on the Top Country Albums roster. Excuse the Mess, which preceded both Hungover and Dandelion but didn’t reach the tally until this year amid Langley’s commercial breakthrough, climbed as high as No. 39 and spent 12 weeks on the list.
Hungover and Dandelion are much closer when looking solely at streaming activity. Dandelion has spent 24 weeks on the Top Streaming Albums chart — its entire run in the public eye — while Hungover has accumulated 44 frames on the ranking of the most-streamed projects on services like Spotify and Apple Music.
Dandelion Rules While Hungover Holds On
Dandelion currently lives on four Billboard charts in the U.S. The musician’s sophomore release continues to rule the Top Country Albums ranking and sits in second place on both the Billboard 200 and Top Streaming Albums chart. It simultaneously loses ground only on the Top Album Sales tally, where it falls from No. 13 to No. 20.
Hungover is present on three of those same rosters, missing only the Top Album Sales chart. The debut full-length lands at No. 7 on the Top Country Albums ranking, holds at No. 25 on the Top Streaming Albums tally and descends to No. 32 on the Billboard 200.
