All 24 fighters made weight in Los Angeles on Friday morning and the entire UFC 331 card is set. That includes the main event, which is a rematch between reigning champion, Joshua Van and former champ, Alexandre Pantoja. The co-main event, which is scheduled for five rounds will see Arman Tsarukyan face Brazilian highlight-reel Mauricio Ruffy. The winner will likely get a title shot in their next fight and you can tell the stakes are high for that one. They needed to be separated at the face-offs in L.A. Let’s talk MMA.

While the main event is a flyweight championship fight that some casual fans might not appreciate, the UFC 331 card is a sneaky good lineup of fights that could produce one of the best events of 2026.
Tsarukyan-Ruffy could be interesting. Tai Tuivasa should be fighting for his job with the UFC as he faces Cuban KO artist Robelis Despaigne in a battle destined to end by KO.
There’s also Charles Jourdain vs. Marlon Vera, Gable Steveson is back, Patricio Pitbull vs. Dooho Choi in another potential Fight of the Night and more. It wouldn’t surprise me to see UFC 331 take over the combat sports weekend. The biggest boxing event set for the weekend has Isaac Cruz facing Nestor Bravo.
