Fragile Beast,’ Finally Arrives To The U.S.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s second mini-album, UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST (or UNBREAKABLE : FRAGILE BEAST), is physically here to the U.S. for the first time. Previously, to get a physical copy of the K-pop group’s album and singles, fans had to import them from Korea and buy them at select retailers. Now, fans can easily go TODAY to Target, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, or any music store and get a copy – thanks to ALD1’s company, WAKEONE, and its partnership with REPUBLIC. The group are hoping to land on the U.S. charts.

Since the group are leaving their mark in the U.S., they’re going all out and exclusive – including a U.S. exclusive postcard, retailer-exclusive photocard, and a signed version from their official US store. To celebrate their ‘Coming to America’ moment, there is a new digital edition of UNBREAKBLE: 少年BEAST, available today, which includes remixed versions of their title track, “BORN DIRE” – a sped-up version and a slowed-down version, giving the track a new tempo and mood. It also includes member-specific versions of the track, including a “Voice Note” track where they share a personal message with their fandom, ALLYZ.

“We’re so excited to present our second mini album, UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST, in the U.S.,” Leo tells us. “We still remember the cheers and energy from our fans at KCON LA 2026, our very first U.S. performance. This is our first album release in the U.S. since debuting, so we hope our music reaches even more people, and we can’t wait to see everyone again soon.”

UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST, initially released in August, explores “the growing pains of youth confronted with prejudice and stigma, and the vulnerability of being perceived as different by the outside world.” Their concept questioned whether a person is a Boy or a Beast, symbolizing a label imposed on the group rather than how they identify themselves. The title track, “BORN DIRE,” is all about pushing forward through the chaos – being born to feel urgent all the time – through British punk and rave music. When the mini-album first dropped in Asia, it sold over a million copies in its first week.

The group is still in their rookie year, having debuted only at the beginning of this year. Yet, their impact in the K-pop world has been momentous. Their debut EP, EUPHORIA, sold over a million copies within 24 hours. It became the second-highest sales ever recorded for a K-pop debut album. Within their rookie year, ALD1 took first place on four of the major Korean music shows: SBS’s Inkigayo, MBC’s Show! Music Core, KBS’s Music Bank, and MBC M & MBC every 1’s Show Champion— with their debut title track, which a boy group has not achieved in nine years. They’ve also found success throughout Asia, with their debut album reaching No. 7 on the Worldwide iTunes Album chart – and ranking in the Top 5 in 18 regions, including Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Russia. In China, EUPHORIA topped the daily digital album chart on QQ Music, the country’s largest streaming platform. In Japan, it was in the top spots on Oricon’s Weekly Combined and Weekly Album Charts for two consecutive weeks. ALD1 has also won several Rookie Awards, including the K-World Dream Awards, Seoul Music Awards, Asia Star Entertainer Awards, and SPOTV K-Pop Awards.
