Harry Styles will likely become one of many artists that have racked up double-digit Grammy nominations at the upcoming ceremony. He is already up to nine nods as a soloist, and with his latest full-length, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, and its singles eligible in a variety of categories, the superstar will almost certainly nab at least one more chance to win another trophy, if not several.
Throughout Styles’s career, he has been nominated for some of the biggest prizes at the Grammys, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. He has also been featured in Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance multiple times. Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally could see him return to some of those arenas, or potentially score his first recognition in categories where he has never competed before.
Harry Styles Could Compete in Pop or Dance Categories
Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally could be classified by the Recording Academy as pop or dance. It depends on where Styles and his team submit the project and how the organization ultimately rules. Styles may find himself in the running for Best Pop Vocal Album for the third time, or potentially Best Dance/Electronic Album, a category where he has never competed before.
Harry Styles Has Several Singles That Are Eligible
There are several singles from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally that could be in contention for Grammys at the upcoming ceremony. Styles may choose one track to focus his campaign around, or he could select multiple cuts and push them in different fields. “Aperture,” “American Girls” and “Dance No More” were all chosen as promotional tunes from the full-length, though the singer-songwriter will likely focus on only one or two of them. The first two cuts likely make the best sense, since they received the most attention and performed well on the Billboard charts.
“American Girls” Could Bring Harry Styles Back to Pop
Where those singles belong is difficult to predict. Of the two, “American Girls” seems like a much better fit for Best Pop Solo Performance. Styles has been included in that field twice, with “Watermelon Sugar” and “As It Was,” with the former winning.
“Aperture,” however, leans far more heavily into the pure electronica featured throughout Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. That distinction may help Styles land his first nod in a different vertical.
“Aperture” Could Compete in the Dance Verticals
“Aperture” could be nominated for either Best Dance/Electronic Recording or Best Dance Pop Recording. It seems like a solid fit for either, but the Recording Academy will ultimately slot it into one or the other.
It is possible, though perhaps unlikely, that Styles could end up nominated in all three fields with the trio of singles from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. That would require some serious strategy on the musician’s part, as well as some leeway from the Grammys’ organizing body.
The General Fields Are Harder to Predict
Whether any of Styles’s 2026 singles compete for Record or Song of the Year is tougher to suggest. None of them rank among his biggest hits, nor do they compare commercially to “As It Was,” which was in the running for those honors only a few ceremonies ago.
Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally may bring the former One Direction musician back to Album of the Year, which he claimed somewhat surprisingly with his previous project, Harry’s House. His latest set has a fair shot at a nomination, though that is not necessarily a given at this point. Styles’s better chances of nods and wins are likely in pop and, for the first time in his career as a superstar, the dance categories.
