Harry Styles began his career as a solo musical artist almost a decade ago. The singer, who first found fame as one of the five members of the boy band One Direction, dropped his self-titled debut album in May 2017, and in less than a year it will turn 10.
Styles spent much of the earlier part of 2026 hyping the world for his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, pushing multiple tunes from the project, which arrived in early March. The Grammy winner is currently touring the full-length, and he initially stated he was playing dates in only a handful of countries. Thanks to the success of his Together, Together venture, a slew of new shows have been added, expanding the run into more than 100 nights and two years.
As people all around the world head to enormous venues to see one of the biggest male pop stars working today, Styles’s first smash on his own reaches a new peak position.
Harry Styles’s “Sign of the Times” Reaches a New Peak
“Sign of the Times” climbs several spots on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., which ranks the most popular tracks around the world based on streams and sales while excluding all consumption from the United States. The cut sat at No. 41 last frame and this time around it rises to No. 37 this week, establishing a new peak – but only barely.
No. 41 did not stand as the all-time high for “Sign of the Times.” The track had previously risen to No. 38 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., but now it steps up just one space higher. As “Sign of the Times” reaches No. 37, it matches “Dance No More,” a fan favorite from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally that peaked and stalled in the same position this spring.
“Sign of the Times” Climbs on Both Global Charts
“Sign of the Times” is present on both of Billboard’s worldwide tallies at the moment. In addition to reaching No. 37 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., the cut rises from No. 56 to No. 53 on the Billboard Global 200. The latter roster also measures sales and streaming activity around the world, but unlike the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., consumption from America is included. That is not a new peak for “Sign of the Times,” though, as the cut reached No. 46 just last month.
Harry Styles Fills Three Spaces on the Billboard Global 200
Styles fills three spaces on the Billboard Global 200 this week. In addition to “Sign of the Times,” “As It Was” declines slightly to No. 86, while “American Girls” – the only single present from Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally – jumps from third-to-last place at No. 198 to No. 183.
“American Girls” is missing from the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., but “As It Was” joins “Sign of the Times” in appearing on both worldwide rosters, as it holds at No. 69 on the Billboard Global 200. “As It Was” has previously ruled both worldwide lists, while “American Girls” has also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200.
