The PGA Tour season kicked off its fall schedule with the first ever Biltmore Championship in Asheville, North Carolina. With players getting their first taste of The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, it was anyone’s guess who might claim victory.
With the 2026 Presidents Cup coming up next weekend, it was natural to feel players who were participating for either the United States or International teams would want to have their game at its peak heading into the team competition.
For the United States, one of the members who was selected by captain Brandt Snedeker was the player lifting the trophy on Sunday.
That player was Jacob Bridgeman, who claimed his second PGA Tour win of the season after winning the Genesis Invitational earlier this season, and he did some in come-from-behind fashion.
Trailing Neal Shipley, Bridgeman’s Sunday charge saw him claim a two-shot lead over the rest of the field. The victory earned Bridgeman $900,000 and gets him a ticket to the 2027 major championships.

When it comes to picks for this event, I’d start with my favorite and long shot picks. The favorite pick is the winner pick I like the most. For the long shot winner, that is a golfer who has over +2000 odds to win. It is a long shot pick for a reason, and finding those can be like finding a needle in a haystack.
Here are my favorite and long shot picks for the 2026 Biltmore Championship:
Favorite: Jackson Koivun (+1275) – MISS
Long Shot: Corey Conners (+2900) – MISS
Koivun started out slow in this tournament, but rallied on the weekend to end with a T5 finish. The 21-year old phenom is proving not only that he belongs on the PGA Tour, but that he was a wise captain’s choice for Team USA at the Presidents Cup.
As for Conners, he barely made the cut, and finished with a T42 slot on the leaderboard. A far cry from a long shot victory, but those are rare.
Top 5 Bets For The Biltmore Championship 2026
- Corey Conners (+520) – MISS
- Jacob Bridgeman (+360) – HIT
As stated above, Conners T42 finish doesn’t help us in the Top 5 department, but Bridgeman winning helps us cash a +360 play. A nice return, even with this field which was limited from a talent standpoint.
Top 10 Picks For The Biltmore Championship 2026
- Jackson Koivun (+140) – HIT
- J.T. Poston (+270) – HIT
Koivun and Poston both bounced back on Sunday to get into position to have T5 finishes. While we could have capitalized on these finishes more, having them both in the Top 10 range was a big boost for our tournament picks.
Top 20 Value Picks For The Biltmore Championship 2026
- Lucas Glover (+385) – MISS
- Neal Shipley (+220) – HIT
Glover had a tremendous start to the tournament, but faded over the weekend to finish T70. However, my “gut pick” for Pittsburgh native Neal Shipley almost turned into an outright winner. However, Shipley’s lead heading into the final round faded, and Shipley finished with a T3 finish. That was well within the Top 20 I predicted, and helped cap off a huge week of picks and predictions.
Best Prop Bets, Parlays And Bonus Plays For The 2026 Biltmore Championship
For bonus plays, these are picks which I don’t necessarily hang my hat on, but still provide value for some who want more exotic plays outside of the aforementioned picks. Sometimes bonus plays are parlays, double chances, triple chances, and even some fun plays for that particular event.
