Oliver Tree, a singer-songwriter known for such hits as Life Goes On and Miss You, has died.
Tree and five others died on Sunday morning after two helicopters collided near Rio de Janeiro, according to The Associated Press. He was 32.
According to The AP, police said Tree was on the list of passengers and pilots on the helicopters, but the bodies of the deceased have not been identified. TMZ reported that Tree and four others were in one of the helicopters, while one pilot was in the other.
According to Variety, Tree, who also directed his own music videos, had recently embarked on a world tour that began on May 30 in Mexico City. Tree announced his concerts on X on May 8, writing, “The world’s first world tour
7 continents. 40+ countries.
6 months of beautiful chaos.
