Riley Green found himself in a tight race to score the No. 1 album in America this week, one which he ultimately did not win. Miley comes out on top with Bass Persuades, which launches at the summit, but it was very, very close.

Green’s latest full-length That’s Just Me kicks off its time at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 instead of at the summit. That’s a new high point for the rising country star, and it marks his first top 10 on the all-genre ranking. Even though That’s Just Me doesn’t manage to conquer any list published by Billboard, it does bring the country musician to new career peaks everywhere it launches this week in America.

Riley Green Nearly Scores His First No. 1 on Several Lists

That’s Just Me misses the peak position on two of the five Billboard rosters where it debuts, starting off in second place on both the Top Country Albums and Top Album Sales charts. The former measures the most-consumed country releases in the United States using sales and streaming activity, while the latter focuses solely on purchases and isn’t focused on any one style.

Green earns his first top 10 on the Top Album Sales ranking with That’s Just Me. If It Wasn’t for Trucks, a short collection that arrived in September 2020, previously stood as his loftiest showing, and it topped out at No. 17.

On the Top Country Albums chart, Green doubles his top 10 count. Don’t Mind If I Do climbed as high as No. 6, reaching that position nearly a year after it first landed on the genre-centric tally.

Miley and Ella Langley Keep Riley Green From No. 1

Different projects keep That’s Just Me from ruling those two lists. Bass Persuades launches at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart, as Miley beats Green on both that purchase-only roster and the Billboard 200.

On the Top Country Albums ranking, it is Ella Langley who holds at No. 1 with Dandelion. Green and Langley have worked together on multiple hit songs – including several that helped catapult them to stardom within the country field – and this week they sit side-by-side on the country rundown.

Don’t Mind If I Do Celebrates 100 Weeks

That’s Just Me might miss out on becoming Green’s first ruler on the Top Country Albums chart, but he has another reason to celebrate on that roster. Don’t Mind If I Do dips slightly, falling outside the top 10 to No. 11, while reaching exactly 100 frames as one of the 50 most-consumed country collections in the nation.

Don’t Mind If I Do is Green’s first project to reach that milestone. In fact, Don’t Mind If I Do has lived on the Top Country Albums tally for more than twice as long as his second-longest-running success. Different ’Round Here has managed only 43 stints on the rundown so far.

Riley Green Hits New Career Highs on Multiple Lists

Green earns his first appearance on the Vinyl Albums chart as That’s Just Me enters that list at No. 5. He also simultaneously breaks into the top 10 for the first time on both the Top Streaming Albums ranking and the Billboard 200.

On the ranking of the most-streamed collections in the U.S., Green doubles his appearances. Don’t Mind If I Do peaked at No. 19, while That’s Just Me launches in tenth place.

Green had previously only climbed as high as No. 25 on the Billboard 200, where Don’t Mind If I Do arrived and peaked back in November 2024. That release rises to No. 54 this frame, and if it can hold on for one more period — which seems entirely plausible as it nears the upper quarter of the 200-space rundown — it will reach 100 weeks as a top performer in the nation, only days behind that showing on the country-only tally.

That’s Just Me opens at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 behind Miley’s Bass Persuades and Langley’s Dandelion, which settle at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively. The top title and Green’s latest studio effort are only separated by less than 1,500 equivalent units.
