Shakira is one of the most successful artists of all time on a number of Billboard’s Latin charts, which focus on a variety of styles performed largely in Spanish. Of course, she has reached far beyond that segment of the music industry, both with English-language releases and Spanish tunes that became global smashes – and the singer’s latest hit is one of her biggest in a long time.
Shakira regularly finds herself on the Latin lists in America, but it is on one of the pop tallies where the Grammy winner scores a special new hit this week. “Dai Dai,” her collaboration with Burna Boy, was released to celebrate the 2026 World Cup. The event ended weeks ago, but listeners around the world, and especially in the United States, have not finished their love affair with the team-up.
“Dai Dai” debuts on several Billboard rosters this frame months after its initial release, and it becomes a rare showing for Shakira on one of the tallies where it arrives this period.
Shakira Scores a New Hit on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary Chart
“Dai Dai” debuts at No. 14 on this week’s Adult Contemporary chart. The roster measures the most successful tracks at radio stations that cater to that specific, more mature pop format. It is one of three pop radio rankings published by Billboard each week, alongside the Pop Airplay and Adult Pop Airplay charts. As it arrives on the AC list, “Dai Dai” has now appeared on all three related rundowns.
Shakira Scores Her Highest-Charting AC Smash
“Dai Dai” becomes only Shakira’s second career placement on the Adult Contemporary ranking and immediately brings the superstar to a new career high. She first reached the tally almost 20 years ago, in October 2006, with “Hips Don’t Lie,” her collaboration with Wyclef Jean. That smash eventually climbed to No. 24 the following February. Nearly two decades later, “Dai Dai” opens 10 spaces higher and instantly becomes Shakira’s biggest hit on the roster. Burna Boy, meanwhile, reaches the Adult Contemporary chart for the first time in his career.
“Dai Dai” Appears on All Three Pop Radio Charts
“Dai Dai” is also holding on to the other two pop-focused radio rankings in America. The collaboration remains at its No. 39 peak on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, where it sits in second-to-last place. The tune has enjoyed a much longer run on the Pop Airplay tally, the most competitive of the three. “Dai Dai” rises one space to No. 27 this frame, missing its previously-established showing of No. 26 by a single spot.
Shakira Scores Her Yet Another Latin Pop Airplay Top 10
“Dai Dai” also debuts at an impressive No. 3 on the Latin Pop Airplay chart. The collaboration becomes Shakira’s forty-seventh top 10 on the roster out of 58 total appearances. Amazingly, only 11 of the singer’s hits have failed to reach the highest tier.
“Dai Dai” is now one of seven Shakira tunes to peak at No. 3 on the ranking, though the superstar has climbed even higher with plenty of releases. She has conquered the Latin Pop Airplay tally with 26 different smashes throughout her career – one of the greatest accumulations of champions on the roster.
“Dai Dai” Climbs at Radio and Rules Globally
As “Dai Dai” reaches new radio rankings the cut has never seen before, it also reaches an all-time top placement on the broader Radio Songs chart. The Shakira and Burna Boy collaboration advances three spaces to No. 31 in its sixth week on the tally. At the same time, the track remains an even bigger smash globally, as it keeps at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
