Billboard‘s two global charts, the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S., have only been around for a little under six years. It’s not surprising, then, that many of the most successful artists on the tallies are today’s top hitmakers. Acts like Bad Bunny, BTS, Future, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars and several others claim some of the most No. 1s, most top 10s and the most impressive accumulations of appearances on the rundowns.

Two superstars have been in a battle to claim the record for the greatest number of top 10s, and this week, as Drake almost occupies the entire region, he passes the top female star on the planet.

Drake Debuts Eight Songs from Iceman Inside the Top 10

Eight songs from Drake’s new album Iceman – one of three he released at the same time, along with both Habibti and Maid of Honour – debut inside the Billboard Global 200 top 10 this week. Only “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson and “Swim” from K-pop boy band BTS, which decline, pushed downward by Drake’s domination, keep the Canadian talent from the historic showing.

These are all of Drake’s hits inside the Billboard Global 200’s top 10 this week.

  • No. 1 – “Janice STFU”
  • No. 2 – “Ran to Atlanta” with Future and Molly Santana
  • No. 3 – “Whisper My Name”
  • No. 4 – “National Treasures”
  • No. 5 – “Shabang”
  • No. 6 – “Make Them Cry”
  • No. 7 – “Dust”
  • No. 9 – “2 Hard 4 the Radio”

Drake Passes Taylor Swift’s Record

Thanks to his eight new arrivals within the uppermost tier on Billboard‘s list of the most popular songs around the planet, Drake ups his career total to 45 top 10s. Before this week, Taylor Swift stood out as the artist with the greatest number of top 10 smashes on the Billboard Global 200.

She stood out as the only name to rack up 40 or more for several months. Swift reached that landmark last year, thanks to her latest full-length, The Life of a Showgirl. The blockbuster debuted nine songs between Nos. 1 and 10 on the chart dated October 18, 2025. Only “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters stopped her from a clean sweep.

Drake and Taylor Swift Followed by BTS and Bad Bunny

Swift and Drake may continue to race one another and push their career totals higher and higher as they produce new work. At the moment, no other artist appears to be within striking distance of challenging either one of them for this historic record. Bad Bunny sits in third place with 25 top 10s. BTS comes in fourth with 21, and rapper 21 Savage trails with 16 top 10 smashes to his name.

Drake Scores Another No. 1 With “Janice STFU”

Included in Drake’s roundup of shiny new top 10s on the Billboard Global 200 is another champion. “Janice STFU” debuts in first place, becoming the hip-hop powerhouse’s fourth leader. He is now tied with Ariana Grande for the fourth-most rulers ever, trailing BTS, Swift and Bunny, with eight, six and five, respectively. Just days ago, he was on the same level as Olivia Rodrigo, Jung Kook, Blackpink, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber, but now he’s passed that group of luminaries.

Drake Helped Launch the Chart With “Laugh Now Cry Later”

Drake was present inside the top 10 on the first-ever Billboard Global 200, dated September 19, 2020. That week, “Laugh Now Cry Later,” a team up with hip-hop artist Lil Durk, opened at No. 5, which would turn out to be its all-time peak. Drake nearly doubled up inside the uppermost region that frame, but missed out on doing so by just one space. “Popstar,” fronted by DJ Khaled, debuted at No. 11.

Drake Nearly Matches Taylor Swift in Another Way

Drake nearly matches another one of Swift’s most impressive records when it comes to the Billboard Global 200. The rapper has now seen 184 songs land somewhere on the tally. That’s just four shy of her record – the most among all acts – of 188 smashes.
