*Missed weight, fined 20% of purse
Ribovics’ weight miss will cost him a percentage of his purse, but the fight is still on. This event is getting a ton of attention, but it might turn out to be a card that ages well. There are so many top-notch up-and-comers on the card that when we look back, we might say there were at least four future champions competing in Salt Lake City.
Keep an eye on Damian Pinas, Ateba Gautier, Payton Talbott, Roberto Soldić, Jacobe Smith and Anthony Wint. All of those guys have the potential make some serious noise in the UFC over the next two years.
