Anna Pigeon is coming back for a second round! The hit USA Network series, starring Tracy Spiridakos as the intrepid park ranger, has been a major success for the cabler.
The drama is USA Network’s highest-rated original scripted series premiere in nearly eight years. 2.35 million viewers tuned in within a week of the first episode’s debut. Since then, Anna Pigeon has reached 18 million total viewers and remains the #1 new scripted drama on ad-supported cable in 2026, according to the network.
“Anna Pigeon has connected with audiences in a meaningful way, bringing a compelling new heroine and a fresh perspective to USA Network,” said Michael Sluchan, SVP, Scripted Content, Entertainment, VERSANT. “We’re thrilled to continue Anna’s journey with Tracy, Morwyn [Brebner], Lea [Thompson] and our incredible partners at Cineflix.”
“It’s been really thrilling to see audiences fall in love with Anna and come to the park every week,” said Showrunner Morwyn Brebner. “We’re so grateful to our cast and crew who brought Nevada Barr’s iconic world to life with such heart and passion; we cannot wait to get back outside for season two.”
But before viewers can follow Anna into her next journey, season 1 must come to its intense climax. After all, the ranger and Jeremiah Paulson (Kim Coates) have some bad blood to sort out now that he’s crossed the line again.

‘Anna Pigeon’ Comes Full Circle With A Long-Awaited Showdown
Anna and Jeremiah have had it out for each other since the premiere. Jeremiah’s greed led to the death of Sheila Drury, Anna’s fellow ranger and friend, who was killed to stop her exposing that he was poaching in the park. While Jeremiah wasn’t the one who dealt the killing blow, it was done in service of his secret.
The wealthy landowner felt no shame or remorse over what happened. Instead, he seethed over Anna’s declaration that she would ensure that he didn’t get his hands on park land. She has no intention on letting Jeremiah make it his personal playground. As such, he sees her as a nuisance that he needs out of his way.
Matters worsened when his nephew JP (Sam Duke) tried to cover up the crime he committed. JP had raped and murdered a young woman named Kay (Megan Tracz) and threw her body into a cave. Anna saw him attempting to hide what he’d done and found herself tossed into the cave as well. With the situation getting wildly out of hand, Bethany (Melanie Scrofano) stepped in to help her cousin.
Once she’d freed herself, Anna sought justice. She didn’t expect that it would lead her to finding out Bethany was party to her being held hostage. The woman she thought was her friend chose Jeremiah, her absentee father, over the beginnings of the found family she was making at Glacier National Park. She’s had to face steep consequences as a result.
Even with the family drama and legal incidents, Jeremiah has found time to continue to pursue pushing people out of the park. His latest scheme involves poisoning the river water to make the land inhabitable and unsafe for residents, wildlife, and plants that call the area home.
His endeavor was discovered in episode 9, “Nature vs. Nurture,” thanks to the samples Jesse (Cooper Levy) took from the river and had tested. Now, Anna has even more reason to go after him. If left to his own devices, Jeremiah will not only ruin the park, he’ll impact the health of all who enjoy its waters and partake in its resources.
