AEW follows up an emotional, entertaining and appropriate episode of Dynamite following the death of PAC. One of the standouts from AEW All Out — even in defeat — Jon Moxley leads the charge along with the singles debut for Kofi Kingston. Let’s talk wrestling.

AEW Collision Oct. 3 Key Facts

Detail Info
Date Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026
Start time 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT
How to watch TNT and HBO Max
Venue Truist Arena, Highland Heights, Kentucky
Main event Jon Moxley vs. Jake Doyle, Continental Championship eliminator
Kofi’s match vs. Lee Moriarty, first AEW singles match

Moxley’s belt isn’t on the line. If Doyle wins or reaches the 20-minute time limit, he earns a future shot at the Continental Championship. Kofi’s opponent, Lee Moriarty, is the reigning ROH Pure Champion, and Kofi arrives as one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions.

Moxley comes in off a loss. Will Ospreay beat him for the AEW World Championship in the All Out main event, a match that also saw PAC get involved late. Moxley still holds the Continental Championship, and he has paid tribute to PAC, his fellow Death Rider, more than once since Sunday.

Kofi enters with momentum. He, Austin Creed and Swerve Strickland retained the AEW World Trios Championship at All Out against Hangman Adam Page and Brodido. Moriarty brings a different test as the ROH Pure Champion.

Kofi vs. Lee Moriarty Non-title
Julia Hart vs. Queen Aminata Singles match

Moxley delivered an all-time promo after All Out, which turned out to be the last time PAC was seen on screen. It’ll be interesting to see how he is booked on Saturday. It’ll also be interesting to see Kofi booked as a front liner and not necessarily a veteran there to put someone over.

I’d expect to see Kofi get tons of respect tonight.

Kofi and Xavier came to AEW from WWE and have teamed with Swerve Strickland. They have captured AEW’s Trios championship and have immediately jumped close to top tier in the promotion. They could become among the most successful of any of the performers who have made their way over from WWE.

While that pipeline can sometimes become a bit redundant, Kofi and Xavier might have the characters and in-ring goods to be more than a splash in AEW.

The audience may be there, too. Wednesday’s Dynamite tribute to PAC drew 899,000 cable viewers, AEW’s highest television number since October 2023.
