Today’s Wordle Answer

Today’s Wordle Etymology

“Yodel” comes from German jodeln, meaning “to sing with rapid changes between chest voice and falsetto,” particularly in Alpine folk music. The German word is probably imitative of the distinctive sounds of yodeling, especially syllables like joand di. It entered English in the 19th century, originally associated with Swiss and Austrian mountain singers.

Today’s Wordle Bot Analysis

Every day I check Wordle Bot to help analyze my guessing game. You can check your Wordle score with Wordle Bot right here.

FLOAT was better than I realized at first, leaving me with two yellow boxes and just 81 words. LOUSE only cut that down to 14 and after VOWEL I could only think of two, though apparently four remained: MODEL and YODEL were the two I agonized between. MODEL seemed like the safe bet, but YODEL was more fun. And you know me, I love fun. Luckily enough, that was the Wordle! Yodel-lay-hee-hoo!

Competitive Wordle Score

Our points don’t change today since we tied for four:
