Lollapalooza India has unveiled the roster for its fifth edition, returning to Mumbai in January 2027. Spanning nu-metal, post-punk, R&B, and global pop, the genre-blurring lineup has already ignited debate with some praising its bold variety while traditionalists critique a preceived tonal mishmash.

Making their Indian debut, heavy hitters like Limp Bizkit, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Fontaines D.C. lead the global billing, alongside R&B star Olivia Dean and global pop sensation KATSEYE.
All of the above are making simultaneous India debuts.
Singer-songwriter St. Vincent, Japanese DJ-producer Yousuke Yukimatsu, Swedish DJ Steve Angello and The Police’s Stewart Copeland (performing alongside Grammy-winning Indian composer-producer and longtime collaborator Ricky Kej) round out the international roster.
Olivia Dean enters the festival on a massive wave of momentum following her Grammy win for Best New Artist. Her booking breaks up a consistent pattern of Indian festivals taking a year or two after the fact to catch up with buzzy Western acts. Meanwhile, Fontaines D.C. are set to showcase tracks from their upcoming fifth record, Dopamine Chamber.

KATSEYE’s inclusion makes sense especially considering, as consistently underlined in her personal branding, member Lara Raj is of Indian origin.
The HYBE x Geffen girl group, who kicked off their debut headline world tour in Dublin this week, will perform as their current active lineup of four out of six members (Daniela Avanzini, Megan Skiendiel, Lara Raj, Yoonchae Jeung) with the status of members Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman, both currently on health-related hiatuses, unconfirmed for the India dates.
Group leader Sophia announced her hiatus in August, and Manon has been on hiatus since February with no confirmed return date.
Lara’s older sister, Los Angeles-based pop artist Rhea Raj, is also on the lineup as a separate act. This is KATSEYE’s first confirmed India appearance and their first major festival booking outside of North America and Europe.

Closer to home, domestic acts anchor the festival’s versatility.
Indie singer-songwriter Anuv Jain headlines the homegrown acts, promising a performance with what he describes as “a distinctive sonic and visual world created exclusively for the festival.”
Gujarati folk artist Aditya Gadhvi, fusion veterans Indian Ocean, instrumental act Blackstratblues, singer-songwriter Kayan, the Rajasthani folk ensemble The Manganiyar Seduction, post-hardcore band Scribe, indie multi-genre duo RANJ x CLIFR and fusion artist Varijashree Venugopal (who made an on stage appearance during Jacob Collier’s Indian shows) round out the Indian bookings.
While expectations remain steep following 2026’s high-octane headliners Linkin Park and Playboi Carti, pairing Limp Bizkit with Olivia Dean on a single bill only underscores Lollapalooza’s signature, eclectic brand of lineup anarchy and genre chaos.
