Stella Lefty Nearly Scores Two No. 1 Hits

“Boston” ascends to the runner-up position on both the Streaming Songs and Country Streaming Songs charts, rising from Nos. 5 and 4, respectively. No. 2 is the highest Lefty has ever climbed on either ranking, and “Boston” is her first top 10 hit on both lists.

The Streaming Songs chart measures the most-played tracks of every style in the United States via platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and others. Country Streaming Songs uses the same information, but limits eligibility to titles classified within that one genre.

“Boston” may now be one of the most-streamed songs in America, but it has not managed to reach the summit of either roster. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas,” arguably the biggest hit of 2026 so far, holds at No. 1 on both lists, as well as several additional Billboard rankings.

“Choosin’ Texas” Makes History with Another No. 1

“Choosin’ Texas” has now spent a milestone 15 weeks running the Streaming Songs chart. Langley’s smash stands alone as the fifth-longest-running No. 1 in the history of the tally. As it holds in first place, the smash breaks out of a tie with Desiigner’s “Panda” and “Rockstar” by Post Malone and 21 Savage, which both managed 14 frames in charge.

Langley may advance again on the historic rundown in only a few days. One more period at No. 1 will bring “Choosin’ Texas” level with “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber, which controlled the streaming roster for 16 weeks throughout 2017.

Radio consumption for “Boston” is growing beyond country stations – though that one field is powering the cut. The song advances seven spaces to No. 25 on the all-format Radio Songs ranking, another new high point.

Stella Lefty Reaches One Billboard Chart for the First Time

“Boston” simultaneously improves to No. 23 on the Billboard Global 200, which takes into account streaming and sales activity from around the world.
